Another resource[edit]

You are adding some great information to the Upper Iowa University article. Because you are editing a university article, Wikipedia:College and university article guidelines may be another resource for you. I have found it to be very helpful. Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for your work. Alanraywiki (talk) 16:20, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the image out of the lead paragraph again - left aligned images should not be used in the lead as they distort the layout. Hope this helps. – ukexpat (talk) 17:25, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

February 2010[edit]

If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Upper Iowa University, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. I see from the University's website that you are its Director Editorial Services. ukexpat (talk) 17:27, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Image problem fixed?[edit]

I think I fixed the problem - the "team peacock" image used the CMYK colour model as opposed to RGB. I downloaded it to my PC, fixed it in Photoshop and re-uploaded it. It works for me now in IE6.0, please confirm that it works OK for you. – ukexpat (talk) 21:31, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
