About translating[edit]

I see you've asked previously at Talk:Barbara Sanguszko about getting permission to translate an article to German Wikipedia. You should know that you don't need to get permission from anyone to translate articles to other languages; all you need to do is write in an edit summary stating that your edit is a translation from the English Wikipedia article (something along the lines of "Content in this edit is from the existing English Wikipedia article at [[:en:name of English article you want to translate]]; see its history for attribution", or however you write it in German). You may find the page WP:Translate us helpful.

thank you very much! Shelog (talk) 08:55, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also, could you explain your intentions behind your recent edit to Talk:Solomon's shamir? I didn't understand what your point was in linking to a chemical company. Kalimi (talk) 06:19, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
