Information icon Hello, ShereeEveritt. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. AlphaBetaGamma (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 02:05, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am his wife I know the facts ShereeEveritt (talk) 02:18, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that's the problem with editing when you have a conflict of interest. Changing the article's contents because you are his wife and you "know the facts" doesn't comply with one of our main policies on Wikipedia: that of verifiability. From that page: Even if you are sure something is true, it must have been previously published in a reliable source before you can add it. I strongly encourage you to read the information about COI editing before your block expires. Joyous! Noise! 03:44, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are you serious? That’s crazy and opens to defamation.
you have his birth place wrong you have his suburb where he grew up wrong you have a lot of things wrong.
how on earth can you say “reputable” when it’s gossip tabloids? ShereeEveritt (talk) 03:47, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And you block me for writing the truth. How???? ShereeEveritt (talk) 03:48, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
plus I didn’t change anything I ADDED all his acolades and wins, and I simply deleted the racist vilification which in this society is HIGHLY dangerous to him physically. It happened 29 years ago and there’s no place for Wikipedia to be promoting it PLUS half of it’s wrong!! ShereeEveritt (talk) 03:57, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You might wanna take that to the websites supporting the statement. Most statements in wikipedia is supported by a source, like a journal, news, etc... Basically, you will need to provide some sort of source to support the updates. AlphaBetaGamma (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 04:11, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hilarious. Verified as fact by gossip tabloids and online negative trolls ShereeEveritt (talk) 05:39, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

My advice is this: take your suggestions to the talk page of the article. In general, we request that people with a COI discuss their suggestions on the talk page, so others can weigh in on the changes. You can probably connect with some other editors who are a little more dialed into the topic than I am. I did remove the snarky comment about "...lack of discipline..." from the "Hawthorn career" section because it was unsourced. Joyous! Noise! 04:59, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There’s far more that’s unverified. How come all the positive charity work info has been deleted? How come all the positive facts were deleted and this other garbage put front and centre with a massive heading from 29 years ago. And now you want me to go on A public chat lol … a website that promotes gossip and trolls and doesn’t allow the actual people whose reputations are being hurt to write the truth. So I have to get a complete stranger who has zero integrity to give permission on their “opinion” on what’s fact??. No wonder people don’t pay Wikipedia. There are hundreds of interviews about my husband that you could gleen his “facts” from but someone deletes all that and is now promoting racism ….. ShereeEveritt (talk) 06:06, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sheree, I've unblocked your account. However, you still need to follow the established procedures for editing on Wikipedia. PLEASE read the page on conflict of interest editing. Continuing to make the sort of edits that you were adding earlier will probably result in your account being blocked again. Joyous! Noise! 18:40, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
