A tag has been placed on Greensulate, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Greensulate[edit]

Basically it read like an advert and wikipedia is not an advertising source. Please read WP:NPOV. Spartaz Humbug! 17:46, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'd suggest that you start in your userspace at User:Shield349/Greensulate, where you can create a neutral, non-promotional, referenced article on the material. Please avoid any hint of advertising, focus on encyclopedic language, and provide references to document that the material has received significant press and will meet Wikipedia's general notability guidelines. A list of external links won't be sufficient: there mustr be specific references documenting notability. Acroterion (talk) 20:44, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You asked for feedback on your article, so I looked it over. This was fun because I'm learning about Wikipedia and your article gave me a chance to explore the help pages with a specific purpose in mind. Here's what I found:

  1. I have to mention first WP:PRODUCT. The company and the product are not notable. But keep the draft, If it becomes notable, you can put it up fast. One article in Popular Science probably isn't enough. But heck, what do I know.
  2. You've got spaces after your dollar signs. (WP:MOS#Currencies)
  3. Remove the line breaks before your references, so they will appear next to the text they support. (WP:CITE#Inline citations)
  4. History and Technical Specification should be sections. So instead of using '''History''' use ==History== (WP:LAYOUT#Headings and sections)
  5. Technical Specification should be plural (Technical Specifications).
  6. You need citations for the information in the Technical Specification section. This is probably going to come from the Popular Science article so you should look at how to do multiple citations of the same reference. (WP:NAMEDREFS)
  7. Your external link at the end needs a description. This goes before the closing bracket. (WP:EL#How to link)

I hope this helps.Richard-of-Earth (talk) 01:16, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

December 2009[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as on User talk:Eeekster, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 03:31, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
