Greeting Shulapa! Sorry it took me a while to reply, I was busy with Bayt Jibrin the past couple days. To be honest, the only contributions I made to the Palestinian people article is the section on Palestinian cuisine. I do know however, that Palestinians do point out to their rebellions or revolts against the Ottomans and the Egyptians in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries as proof of their early nationalism. When I was editing Nablus, I came across an extremely useful book by Beshara Doumani entailing a lot of info on this subject matter. The book could be read and broken down online. Here is the link [1]. Chapter 1 is the most useful. -- Al Ameer son (talk) 04:39, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. The Khalidi book you're looking for is Before Their Diaspora. (1984) published by the Institute for Palestine Studies. --Al Ameer son (talk) 04:39, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
