Adolescent’s Orquesta

Adolescent’s Orquesta was is a Venezuelan "romántica" salsa band directed and produced by Porfi Baloa in 1995 in Caracas, Venezuela. I already removed the promotional, remove your notice. GeogieTax (talk) 14:59, 26 January 2023 (UTC)

Hey @GeogieTax, my concerns were in the early years section, where the article specifies At present, it can be said that four continents have enjoyed the flavor overwhelmed by this orchestra, which has broken schemes and, in a special way, the language barrier, making men, women, young people and adults sing and dance each one of the melodies that it interprets. This group that has undoubtedly become a faithful ambassador of tropical music and Venezuelan talent. This is again, undoubtedly promotional. Otherwise, the article has improved. Silikonz💬 15:02, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
If you find another error, you can fix it but I doubt that the article has promotional information. GeogieTax (talk) 15:06, 26 January 2023 (UTC)

Technical Move request

Hi @Silikonz, thank you for your comment on WP:RM/TR. I totally overlooked that the discussion was ongoing before proceeding to make a move request. I really apologize for that. I have withdrawn the requested move and I'll wait till the discussion is finished and then post a request if consensus is achieved. Thank you for you help! ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 15:47, 26 January 2023 (UTC)

@Raydann, no prob. Looks like the discussion is swaying on the support side of the move so far anyways, after a while it can be closed. Thanks. Silikonz💬 15:49, 26 January 2023 (UTC)

Hello Silikonz. I performed the move requested at WP:RMTR but it looks like you undid it. Perhaps we edit conflicted. Do you disagree that Brrr (song) is the best title? EdJohnston (talk) 03:32, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

Hey @EdJohnston, I do not disagree. I attempted to make the move on my part, but for some reason the swap didn't go through. Thanks for informing me. Silikonz💬 03:34, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for reply. EdJohnston (talk) 03:34, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

You moved Good Ground Windmill

to Draft: Since Afd already approved the article, could you retract? CaptJayRuffins (talk) 21:36, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

Hey @CaptJayRuffins, I withdrew my AfD nom; on first glance I didn't find anything much about the subject of the article, but looking further it seemed to have significance. It's already in mainspace now. I recommend adding more references as well; that was a concern raised in rationale. Silikonz💬 21:38, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

Draft

An article I had recently created was moved to draft space (prefixed "Draft:" before the article title) where I incubated the article with minimal glitches, added more information and citations from reliable independent sources to stay in the main space and believe that the article meets Wikipedia's general requirements for notability, has appropriate content and is therefore ready for the main space, but I don't have a "Submit draft for review" button! " at the top of the page. In my opinion, taking into account other articles on a similar topic, an article about another magazine that is published worldwide in the hundreds of thousands of copies every year now, after addition, is quite informative encyclopedic in nature, do you think otherwise? I think other users will be able to make an effort to improve this article if you move it to the main namespace. Олексій Непота (talk) 20:49, 28 January 2023 (UTC)

Hey @Олексій Непота. Sorry, I forgot to put the AfC header at the top. Will do now. Silikonz💬 21:02, 28 January 2023 (UTC)

What is the template to find sources ? Thanks in advance Metro2fsb (talk) 17:07, 30 January 2023 (UTC)

@Metro2fsb, you may search online for reliable sources to add to your article (WP:VERIFY) to prove its notability (WP:NCORP). Silikonz💬 17:08, 30 January 2023 (UTC)

Draft:Surat Aap Ri Bannsa

This article is about a music video. This is a old folk song of Rajasthan. Wikione9 (talk) 02:45, 4 February 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for the message, @Wikione9. However, my point stands; your article has no sources to meet WP:NSONGS (or even GNG, for that matter) and these would need to be fixed before the draft is published. Silikonz💬 02:54, 4 February 2023 (UTC)

Now article has been cited. You can check. Wikione9 (talk) 02:56, 4 February 2023 (UTC)

@Wikione9, I would suggest having a good look at Help:YFA first, along with the links I specified earlier. IMDb is not a reliable source (WP:IMDB), and merely one unreliable source is not enough to merit anything. Silikonz💬 04:15, 4 February 2023 (UTC)

If you're going to draftify articles, you need to do it properly, which means at a minimum comment out article cats and add the {{draft}} template at the top of the page.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:36, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

@Bbb23, it would be tedious for every draftify. I'd consider using a script, but Wikipedia is slow for me as is. I'll try to remember, thank you. Silikonz💬 16:37, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
It's up to you how you do it, but if you're not going to take the trouble to do it correctly, then don't do it at all. I use a script, and it's not slow at all.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:39, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
I usually draftify articles from the page feed, which have less things that need to be cleaned up. I was informed about the categories, but didn't know {{draft}} was required. I'll try a script for a little while, thanks for the tips. Silikonz💬 16:54, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

Images deleted on Commons

Re your email: It was a simple manner of obvious copyviol/false license claims on Commons - uploader not caring to make any attempt to be accurate and honest; photos that are obviously decades old but not old enough to automatically be public domain uploaded with claims to be 2023 photos taken by the uploader, no true source info. I have not researched nor am I otherwise familiar with the subject of the article you mention. Cheers, -- Infrogmation (talk) 17:23, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

@Infrogmation, thanks for the info. Silikonz💬 17:24, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for your contributions. I note that you've made some bold changes to the page layout at WP:RMT which I've reverted. Perhaps start a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Requested moves. 162 etc. (talk) 22:14, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

@162 etc., I don't mind your reverting. My rationale for moving the section was to group together common sections for requests together (uncontroversial, reversions), then contested (which should be moved to, not directly edited), then finally, administrator-required, which should be the least prevalent. I did this because multiple users were not sorting their requests correctly, possibly because the reversion section was at the very bottom of the page, making it hard to see. Perhaps you would explain how you disagree with my change? Thanks, Silikonz💬 22:19, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
I don't strongly disagree (my objection is based only on WP:BROKE), but it's probably best to discuss. 162 etc. (talk) 23:12, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
I made the change per two requests, amongst many more, that were placed in wrong locations despite supposedly clear hatnotes. As such, I don't think the system before the change was working quite smoothly. Given most page movers haven't objected or have even welcomed the bold change, I don't think it's controversial. Not that I have any particular objections to seeking consensus. Silikonz💬 00:06, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

Request on 16:24:40, 8 February 2023 for assistance on AfC submission by Dewit62

Dewit62 (talk) 16:24, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

@Dewit62, do you need anything? Silikonz💬 16:29, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

Wescon

do you think it is fine now my page on wescon? thank you Luca LucaBiondi (talk) 21:08, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

Hey @LucaBiondi, I think it does have a certain amount of notability, but it's still a bit lacking in content about what was showcased, as well as a wider range of sources. I'll leave the submission open, and even pending review you can still improve the draft. Silikonz💬 22:13, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
ok i will continue to improve the draft! many thanks in advance! LucaBiondi (talk) 22:30, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
No problem, happy editing. Silikonz💬 22:30, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

Alina Kovalenko

Hi @Silikonz! I've recently moved Alina Kovalenko to draftspace after NPP review due to insufficient sources for BLP notability. The author moved it back and now the page appears as reviewed, despite not being ready for mainspace. Is it also marked as reviewed on your end? Might I get your second opinion on this and subsequent possible draft w/o redirect? Thank you Ppt91 (talk) 05:18, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

@Ppt91, doesn't show up as reviewed for me. At this point I don't think it's quite notable either. I would honestly recommend an AfD, however. I don't wish to overstep WP:DRAFTOBJECT though, it's quite vague in this area. Thanks, Silikonz💬 05:59, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

???

why deleting my page? Spaczo (talk) 17:13, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

Re Zenith Energy speedy deletion

Hi,

I saw you flagged my new article for speedy deletion, but I don't see how it does not establish notability. I have used several secondary sources (and am in the process of adding more) and would love to expand this article from a stub.

It is also referenced in more than 8 articles currently on the wiki, which I am linking to now. Epifanove (talk) 13:57, 10 February 2023 (UTC)

@Epifanove: Please highlight the secondary sources that have significant coverage of the subject, which do not include merely stock info. This is not enough to establish notability. Look for news articles and the like to do this.
Also do not cite Wikipedia in itself. WP:CIRCULAR; just because it is mentioned a lot here does not automatically grant it an article. Silikonz💬 14:00, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
I see, I am adding more secondary sources now. With regard to WP:CIRCULAR, I only mean that in synergy with the other part of my argument, in which I state that it is not an insignificant company in the hydrocarbon industry. Epifanove (talk) 14:05, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
@Epifanove, if you say it's not insignificant, you need to prove it by adding numerous reliable sources with significant coverage. No original research please. Silikonz💬 14:07, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
Got it, im on it. I was just confused because i've seen numerous other articles (more stubby than mine) with less proof of notability and/or sources which were never proposed for deletion. I'll read the documentation more closely and add sources now, thank you. Epifanove (talk) 14:09, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
