Hi Simmons1998! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at List of explorers that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Please stop adding unsourced material

You called Henry I Sinclair, Earl of Orkney an explorer and added him to List of explorers but there is no reliable evidence that he was - there are a lot of legends about him but no reliable sources which is why his article only calls him a legendary explorer. Then you added text saying he subdued the Faroe Islands which again is not correct, which is why Faro Islands also doesn't mention it. Please read WP:VERIFY and WP:RS. Thanks. And now you've started to edit war

You've been reverted twice for calling the fringe theories about Sinclair Legends. They clearly are not. Legend says "A legend is a genre of folklore that consists of a narrative featuring human actions, believed or perceived, both by teller and listeners, to have taken place in human history. Narratives in this genre may demonstrate human values, and possess certain qualities that give the tale verisimilitude. Legend, for its active and passive participants may include miracles. Legends may be transformed over time to keep them fresh and vital." How does that apply to the Sinclair stories? Doug Weller talk 12:30, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

An edit war? I've studied Sinclair family for a long time and their is NO evidence that conclusively identifies Henry as "Zichmni" from the Zeno Narrative. There is no mention of him even once. Edit warring is persistently restoring your preferred version of an article despite disagreement from others. The edit history on Henry I Sinclair, Earl of Orkney shows that you upon being reverted changing "Fringe theories" to "Legends" in your next edit did the exact same thing, with no edit summary either. Though minor, that is still edit warring. The better thing to do in that scenario is to raise the issue on the talk page and discuss with the other editors, because trying to brute force your changes through is more likely to get you blocked than the article being changed. I think you mean this Army.mil article. It's a source for the content, but I don't really think a distant relative joining the Army is significant enough to mention. You can suggest it at Talk:Audie Murphy and see what other editors think, they might disagree with me.

Part of your edit was not even supported by that source. You wrote Clinton's sergeant nicknamed him "Audie" after his great- great uncle., however the source says "Sometimes, the drill sergeants, when I do something wrong say, 'Come on Audie," he said.
