DJ Campbell

Hi, just to let you know why I've put the dash back in Campbell's infobox for the loan spell. I agree entirely that the loan is only for the rest of this season, so it's only ever going to be 2009. But without the dash it looks as if the loan's finished and his current club is Leicester, whereas with the dash it makes it clear he's currently at Blackpool. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:24, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Deleted football articles

Hi there. When you remove completed AfDs from the Wp:FOOTY page, make sure you update the Deletion archive too. This applies to AfDs, CfDs, TfDs, page moves but not to PRODs. Any questions, feel free to ask. Peanut4 (talk) 22:50, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

List of Wangan Midnight episodes

You may wish to withdraw your nomination of List of Wangan Midnight episodes for deletion. The list more then enough to assert its notability and there is no chance of it being deleted in its current states. --Farix (Talk) 21:03, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

I'm happy with a merge, however I think you're going about it the wrong way as deleting one or the other of the articles means the edit history is lost which is against the terms of the WP:GFDL. I think you need to follow the instructions at WP:MERGE#Performing the merger for the correct way to do this. Dpmuk (talk) 22:32, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Name sorting

Hi, I notice you've made some edits recently adjusting the DEFAULTSORT parameter in several biographical articles to sort by what appears to the subject's second name or surname. Can I just get you to check over the changes you made, as I have seen a few examples where the original sorting was correct due to differing ethnic styling of names. For example, I reverted your edit to Ibrahim Hussein (artist) because according to WP:MOS-MY, Malaysian names should be sorted by given name (in this case, Ibrahim). Another example is Li Zuopeng - a Chinese name where the surname is listed first, so DEFAULTSORT:Li, Zuopeng was correct. Thanks, --Canley (talk) 02:58, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

The use of a comma before the word "and" is optional, and can often help to avoid confusion. This is known as a serial comma. Although it is less common in British English than in American English, its use is neither encouraged nor discouraged. – PeeJay 21:27, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Also, yes, I am registered at RedCafe.net as PeeJay, but I seem to have been banned for some reason. I am currently investigating the matter. – PeeJay 21:28, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
