Vancouver Canucks task force[edit]

Hey! I noticed you spend a bit of your time on Wikipedia editing Vancouver Canucks related articels. I have been thinking about starting a Vancouver Canucks task force under WikiProject Ice Hockey for some time now, and am now going into the stage of gathering interest, seeing if anyone would actually be interested in joining. I've made a temporary page for the task force at User:Nurmsook/Vancouver Canucks task force. Basically, I just need to get enough members before I actually launch the task force. I still have to create some templates and alter a few that already exist once I get enough members, so hopefully you will be interested! If you would like to help out, please add your name to the list at User:Nurmsook/Vancouver Canucks task force#Participants. Thanks! – Nurmsook! (talk) 00:05, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have gone ahead and launched the task force. It can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey/Vancouver Canucks task force. If you'd like to add a userbox to your userpage, feel free to add {{User WikiProject Ice Hockey/Vancouver Canucks}}. Basically, for the first little while here, I'll be tagging all applicable pages with the task force option on the talk page. From then on, it'll just be general improvement of the Canucks related articles. Feel free to take any route you please with this task force. Hopefully we can make some great improvements to these articles! – Nurmsook! (talk) 22:43, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the offer[edit]

Hi! Thanks for your invitation. I'd gladly join this nice quest if and only if Hong Kong television is included as that is my expertise. Hope to hear a reply of confirmation soon! --Shaggy9872004 (talk) 12:16, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

Hello Skyezx, I noticed that you do quite a bit of vandal-reverting. Would you like me to grant your account rollback rights for you to use alongside Twinkle? Just remember that rollback, like Twinkle, should only be used to revert vandalism. Tell me what you think. Thanks. Acalamari 16:24, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback granted. :) If you would like to view additional information and/or practice, you may want to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 02:15, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

edit conflict[edit]

Hi - I apologize for reverting you, but it was sort of an edit conflict as I pressed the button half-a-second after you made your revert. Sorry for the confusion, Vishnava talk 04:38, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. It happens. =p Skyezx (talk) 04:40, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template[edit]

Thx for creating the template! But somehow when there's 2 slides missing at the end like....

Hi Skyezx! I'd like to invite you to become a part of WikiProject Chinese-language entertainment, a collaborative effort focused on improving Wikipedia's coverage of Chinese-language actors, singers, music and television programs. If you would like to participate, please visit the project page, where you can join the project and/or contribute to the discussion.

Hope to see you there! Addbot (talk) 02:42, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And a side question, how did you get that cool header for your user and talk page :P Thx again! Dengero (talk) 07:28, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Now it comes up with 4 slides instead of 2 lol. ^^ Dengero (talk) 07:47, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Userpage[edit]

Hi again! I spent hours pouring over how to make my heading and in the end I managed to get it to look like this. But somehow the "Quote of the Day" wont get above the actual menu. Can you take a look to see which bits of coding I might have missed to get it up there? Feel free to edit it if you can. Thanks! Dengero (talk) 12:25, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou! It's perfect =D Dengero (talk) 01:38, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

CLE Dispute[edit]

Sigh, that certified gangsta guy is obviously another one of those "taiwan"/"china" split members. I understand what he wants to do since I've seen a lot of patriotic people from both sides (changing all the "taiwanese" articles to "chinese", in his case-the other way round). I don't know if a third comment is enough or I should ask for help with Dispute Resolution. He snided me with "please spell "consensus" correctly" when I told him I would appreciate it if he spelt my name right. The difference is basic respect and grammar mistakes. I also dont like his offensive attitude >.>. Come online fast to give a third comment!! haha. Dengero (talk) 08:41, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just wanted to say a more subdued thank you here. It's exactly what I wanted, thank you for your help! :) Maedin (talk) 15:05, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

hmmm, I got the info from yesasia. But I guess the direct translation sounds nicer doesn't it? Ok I'll change it. Dengero (talk) 04:58, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article is after your last editing extremely POV, and in need of fast changes in order to make it more NPOV. --Ekologkonsult (talk) 10:07, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Markus Naslund[edit]

Hey there, I've been working on Markus Naslund's article for the past couple of weeks or so and would love to get it into FAC. I've expanded the prose by about three pages and have gone through the article for general fixes where I could find them. I thought because of your work in getting the article to GA, we could jointly submit it for FAC. I don't have a lot of experience with FAC – I submitted Pavel Bure's article, but it wasn't promoted – but I think with Naslund's jersey retirement ceremony most likely coming up, it'd be great timing. What do you think? Orlandkurtenbach (talk) 02:09, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:01, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:59, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

New 10,000 Challenge for Canada[edit]

Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Canada/The 10,000 Challenge is up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge for the UK which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. If you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Canada like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1600 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for Canada but fuelled by a contest such as The North America Destubathon to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. I would like some support from Canadian wikipedians here to get the Challenge off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile! Cheers. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:55, 22 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
