Dancehall Keddah[edit]

Born Edward Terence Cheza on the 14th of June 1993, Keddah is the first born of 3. Dancehall Keddah started his music journey in High School at Prince Edward School as he played the drums and marimba. He was in the Jazz band, Marimba band, Mbira band and the Pop Band.

DK's professional career in the music industry started whilst he was doing his form 3, playing the drums for Bob Nyabinde. He later on played for Dadza D and Guspy Warrior in their respective bands before starting his own career as a solo artist in the dancehall culture.

Dancehall Keddah's first commercial release was the "Mashoko Kwamuri EP" which he released on the 13th of February 2021. This EP housed Ghetto Anthem which received favorable play on radio and TV. His most popular song off the EP is Mukwasha Imboko which charted in the top 10 on the 3 leading radio stations in Zimbabwe. The success of the project helped Keddah secure performances at the Annual Reggae Festival and Shoko Festival among many others.

A few singles followed after, Old Man Nyarai featuring Lazzie T, Mai Mwana and DK's most popular song to date, Murombo Munhu which was number 1 on the Mangungundengu Top 10 show 3 weeks in a row.

2022 promises new music, videos and shows as Dancehall Keddah has put together his own band which will be unveiled in the second half of 2022. Skyviny (talk) 07:15, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
