SR West Country and Battle of Britain Classes

Slambo, as you may have seen on the trains wikiproject page, the SR West Country and Battle of Britain Classes article is up for FA status. I've asked several editiors to give their opinions on how the article should be improved, and seeing that you are someone of vast experience in these matters, could you give the article a look-over and suggest any improvements? Also can you identify any strengths that I can perpetuate in other Southern Railway articles? Any response wold be gratefully appreciated. Thank you, --Bulleid Pacific 11:08, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

PRR Railroad

I just wanted to say thanks for your help with this article. I'm new to Wikipedia and this is one of the few articles I've devoted alot of time to. Shinerunner 01:18, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Casey Jones

Hi, thanks for your work improving the references on the Casey Jones article! In the "references" section where you see #3 I was wondering if you could put "Casey Jones Railroad Museum State Park in Vaughan, Mississippi" after #3. I got some good info from the museum website (even though the museum closed in 2004 it still has a website with some Casey Jones articles). Thanks. Homedepotov 16:46, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Notification of proposal: Guideline/policy governing lists

Dear editor:

Given your extensive experience here on Wikipedia, I would greatly appreciate your input on the following topic:

Wikipedia: Village pump (policy)#Proposal to make a policy or guideline for lists

Thank you in advance for any thoughts you may have on the topic.

Regards,

Thanks!

Thanks for the link to WP:TWP/MOS on the Heartland Flyer page. I'd been faking style up to now based on discussions within the WP:TWP pages and somehow missed the style guide! --plaws 16:18, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Electrostar 378

Hello, I have the impression that you are an expert about Railroad in the UK, so I though I will asked you a small question: do the E376 and the E378 have a door to separate the cars? I had the impression on the picture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_378)that there wasn't one! I have seen this until now only in metros and not in commuter trains, and I was just wondering, if in the UK you were a step further as in Germany... Thnak you in advance for your answer, Caroline

WPTIS importance

Do you think you could add this to TWP template? Low would be Category:Low-importance Scotland Transport articles through to Category:Top-importance Scotland Transport articles and those in between. The way it is set up in the TWP template, could you make it either Scotland-importance or WPTIS-importance though prob former...? Sorry to bother you and thanks. {{User:Slambo/TWP test|Scotland=yes|Scotland-importance=high}}
OK, thanks. I've tried it and it looks like it works as you can see from above. Simply south 21:30, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Hey Slambo, how you doing, "Moebiusuibeom-en" here, thanks for editing San Juan-Caguas Rail (my baby) and suggestions on improving article! did best i can with citations, have busy schedule. I've gone to great lengths to develop this article, even talked to the cities mayor and was provided with some good hints and high res images included in article by Alstom.

Please note the following;

Eliminated onsourced statement "track width", which I've included since it's the standard worldwide especially on this type of system, used' it to fill in.

Left one citation, (…Montehiedra Station) info is available but not digitally, printed matter Press Release only, (is citation really needed?)

In Categories; anyway of eliminating "All articles with unsourced statements" since we already have "Articles with unsourced statements since August 2007"

Kind regards Moebiusuibeom-en 16:32, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

WP:UK Trams

You mentioned that you didn't mind helping me with templates etc on WP:UK Trams. Can you make the Banner as we discussed it? Also, are you any good at making other templates we might need, in particular a portal? Thanks, Bluegoblin7 13:40, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Following your message about the banner, could you add the parameters LT, Trains, UK Trains, Scotland, Streetcars and maybe a few others? Thanks, Bluegoblin7 10:01, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Images on my user page

I was under the impression that corporate images such as team logos, had already possibly been cleared for usage on Wikipedia. I only linked to the ones already present on the site. I will follow your advice. Thanks --WriterThesp77 18:37, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Re: Regarding your recent edit to the article Canonbury railway station:

Thanks for pointing out the stuff about the directory information, point taken and noted. I do, however, disagree that the information added in anyway could be classed as trivial, in that context. It was directly related to the article, and in relation to things like "Station Code: CNN" and "Platforms in use: 2", or even better "Local authority: London Borough of Islington", I think it's on safe ground. In fact, the whole article could quite easily be considered trivial according to WP:NOT - if you want to know about a train station that isn't a major terminus or something of true note (something Canonbury definitely isn't), look at a train map or a timetable - but it was there, I know about it, so I added to it.
