Thanks!

Thanks for the helpful suggestions. I think I wrote that message on the talk page of the wrong IP address--there were two IP addresses making similar edits, and one of them was worse than the other (You wrote a message on both of their talk pages). I deduced they weren't good faith edits based on the other edits they were making, but you're right, I could have been more constructive. Back to the grind! Image removal

Thanks for your help -it wasn't apparent that 'Fastily' had actually removed it. Kind regards Long Ben Every (talk) 12:05, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

Churchill, a.k.a. Hollyhurst

Dear Slazenger,

I deeply respect your concerns questioning the existence of the small, quaint little village of Hollyhurst. However, I also strongly object to your efforts regarding the deletion of the page. It is argued that "Hollyhurst" is the colloquial name the locals give to Churchill, and even though Churchill is the village's official name, the name, Hollyhurst is more commonly used. I myself am a police detective from the village so I think I know better than you do if it exists!

Kind Regards,

Detective Chief Inspector David Jackson.

Added it. Thanks...going too fast for my own good tonight. --Slazenger (Contact Me) 23:35, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the intervention tonight, it was all quite an eye-opener for me, never having been witness to any deletion before, never mind a speedy one; it was like the Special Forces descending, cleaning everything up and leaving barely a trace behind! Thanks! PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 01:30, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
