Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your addition to List of social networking websites has been reverted; please only place entries there that are internal links to actual Wikipedia articles about notable social networking sites. External links, redlinks, substubs, non-notable sites or things that are not social networking sites will be removed. Please see WP:WEB for information on notability for websites on Wikipedia. If you have questions, use the talk page. Your future editing experience will be better advanced by using the sandbox. Thanks. Refsworldlee(chew-fat)(eds) 18:39, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your post on my talk page. You're dead right, create the article first then develop referencing to other articles or lists. However, having visited Zooped, I have to say that it stands little chance as it is. You have a few lines of descriptive text so far, no secondary references or sources, and don't even include an external link where the reader can even primary reference for themselves. The only info I can find about Zooped is that it is a new, and therefore beta, site; its About Us page says only the words "fresh and clean", which is either a reference to it indeed being new, or describes the amount of useful information contained on the page. Google brings up links to some content loosely entitled "The next big thing" - unfortunately, notable sites have to be the current big thing, or one of them at least.
Can I ask if you are connected to the site, either as a prime member, or designer or webmaster? If not, I have no further comment. But if so, you should not be creating an article about your own website or one in which you have a vested interest.
In conclusion, Zooped as it exists in April 2007 is clearly non-notable and would therefore be deleted pretty quickly, especially as it is so sparse as an article. And indeed it seems that the article has been tagged as such.
Sorry I cannot be more optimistic about your recent editing. But good luck with your future contributions. Best wishes. Refsworldlee(chew-fat)(eds) 19:05, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Zooped, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:Zooped. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. Darksun 18:45, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
