Kurdish–Turkish conflict (1978–present)

Warning icon PLEASE STOP changing or removing reliably sourced, content as you have done on the Kurdish–Turkish conflict (1978–present) article. If you continue to disruptively edit, you may be permanently blocked from Wikipedia - Cengizsogutlu (talk) 12:45, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Cengizsogutlu, as I said in the edit log multiple times, the Kurdish Institute article is a republication of an article at Al-Monitor, which I replaced it with. The KI website states at the top of the page: "This article was published on Al-Monitor on February 4, 2016". As for the Daily Sabah and TRT World articles, both have been discussed with respect to the article previously and were agreed to not be reliable on the subject. TRT World is also listed as unreliable on subjects where the government has a conflict of interest (see WP:RSPSRC), such as the Kurdish conflict. Furthermore, neither article mentioned "other Kurdish tribes" (other than the Village Guards, which are listed) being belligerents in the conflict anyway, only that they were opposed to the PKK. Please read the edit summaries before reverting edits and especially before threatening reports. Soapwort (talk) 12:59, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
I added new source why did you ignore it? Shadow4dark (talk) 13:17, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Help in improving the Pınarcık massacre page

Hello Soapwort I hope you are well. I would like to to ask you if you can help in improving the Pınarcık massacre page. I made a revision which I thought was neutral and exclusively reporting the facts rather than pushing a certain POV, later it was reverted by a user called GGT. I want to avoid an edit war, and at the same time I feel there is something wrong going on here that needs to be corrected. For example look at the difference in narrative compared to the Başbağlar massacre. Ayhan Çarkın's statements are viewed very differently in the articles (purely because of the editor). The user GGT has made sure to specifically put the blame on the PKK to the top based on a single source that claims the PKK to have done it, while ignoring or smearing the statement from the ex-police special forces officer. Claims that sources do not mention the confession is actually proof that they don't consider it (really)... So when examining the sources mentioned, they don't even go into Pınarcık massacre to make it relevant to actually be talking about his statement so he's twisting the narrative here. He is very hostile and dodging points, so I would like this to article to be improved by more parties. If you care to assist. TataofTata (talk) 16:13, 1 June 2021 (UTC)

Hi TataofTata, I looked into what was being discussed on the article talk page and have responded there. Soapwort (talk) 12:21, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
