Badonkadonk[edit]

I was hoping you could provide a reference for the fact you recently added to Badonkadonk. "Though in fact the first instance of its use in broadcast media was by comedian Tracy Morgan in an interview with Conan O'Brien , on his Late Night NBC program." Or even just a date would be great. Yes, I'd really like to know when this word came into use. If it's any help, this site - http://www.conan-obrien.net/ - has an episode guide to Conan O'Brien. Tracy Morgan has appeared several times, including twice in 2000. I'm not obsessed with badonkadonks - really - just words. ThanksGhosts&empties 17:23, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tracy used Badonkadonk on the Friday August 16 2002 episode of Conan O'brien show

this is not to be confused with badoonkadoonk,which preceded it,and of which badonkadonk is a derivative,to more closely tie in Ass/donkey and the slang terminology for the human gluteal mass.

Thanks for updating the notes on that episode. I don't have time to dig out the relevant links, but I thought I'd leave you a note in case I forget later to get back to you.

When you do find a source to support something that another editor (probably me in this case) has fact tagged, please add this as a proper cite to the article and remove the fact tag.

Ankyl[edit]

Hi,

You are responsible for an edit to Hookworm providing the Greek root for "ankyl" or "ancyl". But it looks to me like you have used a gamma, where I guess it should be a nu. In αγκυλο (what you wrote), isn't that second letter a gamma? I don't know Greek, so if it is supposed to be a gamma, so be it, but I believe that's what that letter is.

Yes I based it off the Greek lettering found in the article for Ankylosis also the γγ γκ γχ all form the similar nasal diphthong as seen in Strong's concordance entry on the word translated as bowels Sochwa (talk) 18:23, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please use edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism).
