License tagging for File:D Ray White.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:D Ray White.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:07, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:D_Ray_White.JPG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:D_Ray_White.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 20:11, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page edits[edit]

For future reference, when you make a comment on a talk page, as you did at Talk:List_of_city_nicknames_in_Illinois, please add your own comment below the comment you are responding to, and sign it using four tildes (~~~~). Please do not insert your words in the middle of other users' comments, as that muddles the record of the conversation. Thanks! --Orlady (talk) 14:23, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Orlady!

File copyright problem with File:D Ray White.JPG[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:D Ray White.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Kelly hi! 13:06, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think you've mistaken me for somebody else[edit]

It sounds like a reasonable question, except I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't think I've ever edited the Joliet page or either of the mayors' pages. I have contributed some photos from historic places around Joliet, but I was just driving through and have no knowledge of Joliet politics. Of course you never know what info you pick up on Wikipedia and where it shows up, or perhaps there was a slip of the keyboard somewhere... If you can be more specific, give me a date or a diff or an article ....

All the best,

Thanks again, smallbones... I was mistaken, it was another user. Thanks! soco_79

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:16, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
