Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Drug rehabilitation, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 16:21, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Riverton, Utah. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 16:23, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hello, Sodomojo20, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing has not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 16:25, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Equine therapy. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. . It is quite possible that you genuinely don't understand what you are doing. Wikipedia is strongly against adding links to commercial websites, because by the very nature of being commercial, such websites promote their business and their opinions. Therefore as a rule they cannot be source of neutral, independent information. And their citing in wikipedia is an undue promotion of their business. Staszek Lem (talk) 16:43, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the removal of the links as spam. I'll add that you should review our conflict of interest policy which appears to apply as well. Below is a list of all the added links to help others review the situation.

As you can tell by my profile, I am new on Wikipedia. I thought I had it figured out. The intent was hardly to spam. I didn't see it as that. I was simply adding references and links that added more information and/or value to the topic being discussed. I was not spamming multiple pages with nonsense links that did not apply. I was not trying to game the system or do anything whatsoever that would mislead anybody.

If the original messages after Staszek has removed them, if it has given more information, then I wouldn't have resubmitted anything. But just marking something as spam that is clearly not spam, is confusing, and wrong.

All that said, thanks for educating me, and I'll leave wikipedia up to you guys so you can make sure it has the content that you want and nothing else. Sodomojo20 (talk) 19:56, 20 October 2015 (UTC)sodomojo20[reply]

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mariamc1984. Thank you. The case has been closed as without merit. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 11:13, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
