Misinterpretations are possible

The advice you received at WP:ELN re WP:POINT and your blog is very accurate. I suggest you delete any references to an editor on external sites (I have not read what you wrote—that is not necessary). I understand you were doing it to show that blogs are not reliable, and that you did not actually attack anyone. However, it would be best to not allow any possibility of misinterpretation. • Please stop the edit warring at Little Dragon. Whatever the merits of your position, having you and Reisio (talk · contribs) flip back and forth is not the right solution. Thank you for seeking outside advice at WP:ELN. If you need more support in the future, please post another message there, rather than reverting the link yourself. I appreciate your reaching out to others to settle this dispute. When I find myself in such a dispute, I try to hold myself to one revert. Basically, I try to discuss the dispute rather than making further reverts, tagging the article or content if needed to indicate what is under dispute. --Ronz (talk) 17:40, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

Source Issues

As for my source issues, it is hard to find outside sources to verify the release on those consoles since at this time most publishers are looking at OnLive as the same as PC. When in reality it is more of a Platform than Steam is (due to the microconsole and elimination of worrying about system specifics).

The OnLive client shows the games as "coming soon" and this is usually their only place for announcements. However there are sites just as reputable as some of the ones I've seen used for other consoles, such as: http://onliveinformer.com/homefront-developer-diary-fight-for-freedom/

Would this be considered an acceptable source? As for the COI issue, I don't see it as that. I noticed that a lot of games had Steam as a release platform and wanted to inform people that there is a new service out that is releasing these games as well.

The Streets

The IP editor is trolling. The more you react, the more they are likely to be back. I've put up a 3RR warning on their page. Next time a block can be requested, however, as an IP editor, its not likely to be a long one. So if rewarded with attention they'll be back when it expires. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 16:15, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

I suppose you're right. Oh, and the IP did it again. --Soetermans. T / C 18:11, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
You're somewhat close to wp:3rr yourself (4 reverts in < 25 hours). Be careful that the IP doesn't pull you down. I see that you reverted another change about 30 minutes ago but you didn't put any warning or explanation on the talk page or on the user's talk page (or reported the editor, for that matter). Granted, it's an IP and they might change, but if the issue goes further, you'll want to be able to point to where you tried to explain to the editor why you felt their edit was inappropriate. It's just good practice anyway to help the user rather than just revert without explanation. Take the high road. :) Wikipelli Talk 18:40, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
I consider it to be trolling in the end. I'm through giving warnings to, let's see... on five different IPs (all from this address). See here, here, here, here, and finally here. First I gave warnings, I requested a temporary protection (which was granted), and now the IP's on it again.
But since I'm spending too much to time on Wikipedia I'm taking a Wiki-break for now. I'm leaving it to others to handle it. Since I'm not the only one reverting the darn word, I'm sure it'll work out :). Bye for now! --Soetermans. T / C 13:06, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
It is pretty amazing to me that the debate has gone on for over 3 years! Just over 1 little word. Some people just can't let go, I guess. Cheers! Wikipelli Talk 13:40, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

Tycho

Not a problem at all. I knew myself or someone else would have to go in later and clean it up, but I just got the skeleton out there. Thanks for the kind words and happy editing! GreenRunner0 14:01, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

I'm back

Just in case you haven't noticed, after a 3 year hiatus, I'm back to stand in the current ArbCom election. Unfortunately, the haters are at it again and my page is once again getting nominated for deletion Wikipedia:Miscellany_for_deletion/User:Certified.Gangsta wants its glory back and now it is Wikipedia:Miscellany_for_deletion/User:NWA.Rep and I am already contemplating leaving. I guess the userspace harassment will never stop.--NWA.Rep (talk) 08:36, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

I haven't noticed, no! Good to have you back. I haven't been very active lately, trying to focus on my education.
Man, forget about those pencil pushers. I don't agree with them in the slightest, but you shouldn't let it bother you. In every situation you'll have people like this. Just make a redirect to your talk page like I did for the mean time and keep improving Wikipedia. Good luck with the election! --Soetermans. T / C 11:47, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
