P.S. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you need help with anything or simply wish to say hello. :)

Re: User:Sophrosune[edit]

Some users' names are in different colors because they've formatted the 'Nickname' option under 'User data' in their preferences (the link is right between 'my talk' and 'my watchlist' at the upper right-hand corner of the page). Here's what I typed into mine:

<font color="#3D9140">[[User:Sango123|Sango]]</font><font color="#006400">[[User talk:Sango123|123]]</font>

I also checked the 'Raw signatures' box underneath; it gets rid of the automatic link since I'd already provided one. If you want to try it, tell me how it goes. :) Regards, Sango123 17:26, July 16, 2005 (UTC)

Deletion policy[edit]

Hi Sophrosune. If an article is just nonsense, but Wikipedia should have a real article on that topic, the best thing to do is tag it for speedy deletion anyway. That way, links to the article will show up red, making it more clear to other editors that an article is needed. (Of course, you can always write a replacement yourself, too.) — Bcat (talkemail) 19:33, 31 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You are invited to join Stanford's Wikiproject![edit]

View of Hoover Tower from Main Quad.

As a current or past contributor to a related article, I thought I'd let you know about WikiProject Stanford University, a collaborative effort to improve Wikipedia's coverage of Stanford University. If you would like to participate, you can visit the project page, where you can join the project and see a list of open tasks and related articles. Thanks!
