Hey Sosh. I see you've been doing some spam cleanup. Thanks for that. Regarding the message you left on the talk page, Talk:Tyntec, it's much better to leave messages like that on the creating user's talk page as when we speedy delete articles, we usually delete the talk page as well as orphaned. I see no one has formally welcomed you so:

re:Mobile Banking Vendors - Recently Deleted[edit]

Hi, the page in question was deleted as a prod left uncontested for 5 days. The prod tag was added by another editor; the rationale made sense, so I deleted the list. Since articles deleted per prod can always be restored if anyone contests the deletion, this page is now restored. Please make improvements to address the concerns, otherwise it might end up being deleted at WP:AFD. I have a few suggestions regarding this page if you don't mind. :) If no more information is currently available, content may be merged to Mobile banking, as there's no need for a separate article. You need credible sources to verify your information, particularly the word "popular", or else it may come off as neutrality violation (Have these vendor been listed as most "popular" elsewhere?) As it it, other editors have good reasons to think this a spamlist generated by article creator based on original research. Therefore you need to be more careful if you want the list to stay. Best wishes, --PeaceNT (talk) 16:53, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok - thanks for the undelete. I'll try and address the concerns you listed, thanks. I created it as a separate page, as some of the spam problems with the mobile banking page were related to companies touting their solutions services in the content. Cheers. Hello. I assumed you'd find the deletion discussion quickly enough and post something there (whenever an article goes for an AFD, the deletion discussion link is posted right in the box). It's normal to discuss things on the article talk page even while it's under and AFD, as much of the dialogue, arguments and comments can distract and bog down the AFD vote, especially if a handful of AFD commentors have very strong diverging opinions. I did notice you hadn't put anything on the AFD page itself, and meant to warn you about it but never got around to it. Sorry about that.--Boffob (talk) 13:50, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks. Sosh (talk) 11:12, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry you disagree with the closure, but I think it reflected the consensus. The general concern among those supporting deletion was that it wasn't much more than a collection of external links. If each of the companies had WP articles, then this would be much less of a concern, as we could link to the WP articles rather than having external links.

That being said, I do think you made some good points, and you were making progress on the article. That's why I made the offer to move the page to your userspace for you to continue working on it. If you could flesh out the list a bit more with some information about each company's place in the market - revenue, percentage of the market or something similar - I, for one, would support restoring and keeping the list. If you want to try that, just let me know.--Kubigula (talk) 16:07, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
