Revision

I mate,

I noticed you undid a revision of mine on the Charterhouse page. I had a bit of spat with another user regarding this that got a bit out of hand, to say the least. I was just wondering why you felt it necessary to make that edit and if your open to hearing suggestions. Hundis09 (talk) 22:33, 22 December 2022 (UTC)

Hundis09 please use talk for Charterhouse School to discuss edits on the article. Ensure everything you add is sourced WP:V.SovalValtos (talk) 09:24, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

Locomotive Services Limited

The added information was on the coaching stock that was used by Locomotive Services Limited. Information on the steam rake was already added but that was being kept up despite no reference was included for this, but the edits for the stock used by diesel and electric locomotives has been getting deleted despite references being included. Iv been looking everywhere regarding paperwork proof but the only stuff iv found is for MK1 coaches, not MK2-4 stock. The full sets of stock however is listed in one of the references which shows where the stock is based and who operates it. Leave the edit as is. 2A00:23C5:FC80:6B01:516C:8605:AA95:41B4 (talk) 13:30, 28 December 2022 (UTC)

Tyseley Locomotive Works Query

Hi SovalValtos, I'm not quite sure why you undid my revision of the article - you cite 'Inadequate sourcing' however all the sources I used were from official outlets from the locomotive owning groups/railway magazines/vintage trains website itself. So in order to avoid going round in circles, could you please clarify what was indequate about these sources? TIA GW1450 (talk) 17:03, 29 December 2022 (UTC)

Woking College

Hi I made edits and replied to your message regards why these were made. Woking College is a non profit 6th form. I was just updating a few details that had changed over the year and the fact we have been awarded Outstanding by Ofsted. Can you please update the edits I made. I do not get any money for doing this. WokingCollege2020 (talk) 09:48, 11 January 2023 (UTC)

Mundham IPA

For the IPA of Mundham, would an audio source work, or does it directly need to show the IPA? e.g. [1] I would say it highlights that the "Mund-" is the same as Mundane, and that page contains the IPA of Mund-, and the same for the "-ham".

Yours wikipediaingly,

Erik Sergeant (talk) 11:03, 30 January 2023 (UTC)

Erik Sergeant IMHO a source that directly shows the IPA is required. I have come across pronunciation dictionaries for place names that looked adequate. Recordings do not pass muster as a source for a string of symbols arrived at by WP:OR. If a WP:RS for the IPA cannot be found there is no need to include one. There is no hurry. Best wishes.SovalValtos (talk) 17:40, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
I'll shelve it back to my sandbox for the meanwhile then, cheers, Erik Sergeant (talk) 17:49, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
