Getting started[edit]

Hi Sowelljan, looks like you are having some fun getting started here, and I'd like you help you learn more about editing wikipedia because we need more people to help out. But, I'd better give you a little bit of advice: Be sure your information is relevant to the topic, doesn't repeat something already in there (It's a good idea to skim the whole article before editing), can be verified by reliable sources and is accurate. You've been reverted some, usually because you: 1) didn't add relevant info, or perhaps because it was 2) incorrect or unneeded, (Flaxen manes are not "white" for example.. ;-) ), or 3) Unsourced (the bit about VSE in combined driving, cannot find anything in FEI that says this is an FEI sanctioned competition, but if you can source it, we can look at putting it back in later). I also kept some of the material you added to other articles, though I often moved it to a different place (other than the first paragraph of the article) or rephrased it a bit. (You made a good point about what needed to be added to the lead of miniature horse and your comment about steel toes in riding boots was also a good point and worth keeping, thanks!) Please feel free to either post a question at the talk page of an article or on my talk page if you need help with any of the horse articles. Thanks!
