Deletion of Noam Friedlander?[edit]

I think you've nominated Noam Friedlander for deletion? What can be done about this? I've had three requests from wiki editors to fix this for me, for the princely sum of $1000? I was wondering if you could let me know what the issue is so I can fix it as I'm not sure what the issue is. Everything in the wikipedia link is true! Any thoughts truly appreciated as I can't afford to spend $1000 on this. Many thanks. Noam25 (talk) 22:53, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You have to defend this article's WP:NOTABILITY in the deletion discussion page. In practice, however, I don't think there is much you can do to salvage the article, given your lack of experience here on Wikipedia. By no means you should pay anyone to "fix this article", that is mostly forbidden in this website and these people are probably trying to scam you.
For more information, please read this page. To put it extremely simply, you should try to seek high-quality secondary sources that talk about Noam Friedlander and post them in the deletion discussion. SparklyNights 23:19, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your prompt response.
I am an award winning screen writer and highly published author and did provide high quality sources (UK newspapers etc., among other sources) that qualify, I thought, the page for inclusion. I am confused as to what to do next. And yes, I do have a lack of experience on Wikipedia. The page was created on the release of my last book as advised by the publishers.
And no, I didn't respond or accept any of the paid 'offers' to help 'fix' the page as it all seemed rather dubious and weird to me. As you said, I think I was being scammed. Noam25 (talk) 20:25, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Page creation[edit]

Thanks for adding pages. Though, as a matter of course, when you make pages, please also make a talk page that tags the relevant WikiProjects (you don't need to be totally comprehensive but you can find at least a few by looking at the talk pages for similar pages, and seeing what projects are tagged in the banners there). I think you don't necessarily need to bother rating the page's quality and importance, although you can, but this will help the projects to keep track of the new pages, and they can come add to it as well. I don't think doing this is a requirement, so don't worry, but I just ask that you do so as it helps the page along and all that. VintageVernacular (talk) 21:45, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
