Hi, here are some helpful tips[edit]

Hi, SpiderAusban. Welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for your edits to Animal Farm. You've taken a big step to help share knowledge with the world.

Couple of quick tips to help you get orientated. When adding new material, be careful to keep references attached to their associated statements. In your first edit to Animal Farm, you accidentally used a reference from the previous statement to support your addition. The reference was the stuff between the "ref" tags. In this case it was the <ref>Orwell, ''Collected Works, I Belong to the Left'', p.253</ref> stuff. Also keep in mind that additions you make often should be supported by a reference themselves, especially on more mature aritcles. In this case, I have added a "by whom" tag to your new statement because it did not specify who is claiming Animal Farm is one of the best novels of the 20th century. It is basically a request for a source. The onus is usually on the editor who adds material to supply a suitable reliable source. To maintain the integrity of the articles, other editors must be able to independently verify information.

The links in the Welcome message I posted above are very helpful to newcomers and will help guide you on your process of becoming a new editor. It helps to read that material early. Knowing the ins-and-outs here can save new editors some frustration. Thanks again for you edits. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.
