- @Kilaseell: Season articles have been on my list of to-dos for a long time, I will try to contribute as much as I can. To make you aware, the articles you have created for the first seasons do not currently meet WP:GNG and are at risk of being deleted. Unfortunately, women's ice hockey leagues are not protected under WP:NHOCKEY. We will need to expand and improve the referencing for those articles in addition to creating new ones. - @Spitzmauskc That's what i thought too. I noticed that German Wikipedia has Naisten Liiga season articles but i don't know how well they're referenced since i did not read them yet. Porin Ässät
I was thinking about this, should we move the page Porin Ässät to the name "Porin ässät (men's ice hockey)" and create an article on the parent organization, HC Ässät Pori Oy? We would redirect Porin Ässät and Ässät to that page. There would be a lot of link fixing after that though. This improve the situation of the women's team since the men's team wouldn't be the "main thing" anymore. We could do this with many other teams too! --Cheers! - @Kilaseell: I completely agree with this idea and would support it. However, there are many editors who do not agree that women's and men's teams should be treated equally and some editors become quite angry when such moves are made (I have tried it in the past). My advice is to raise your idea on the talk page of WP:HOCKEY and see if there is any support from those editors. In my experience, edits about women's ice hockey that significantly impact men's ice hockey pages are not welcomed by WP:HOCKEY. After multiple dishartening interations with WP:HOCKEY, I have a adopted a workflow which attracts as little attention as possible from the project. Proceed with caution.
