Hello Shana,

My name is Tyler Hetu and I was born and raised in Rhode Island. My parents found out that I am deaf when I was born and they had decided to send me to the Rhode Island School for the Deaf and graduated from there. also as myself, I wear Cochlear Implant to communicate with my family. I use it when I am with my family and when I listen to music. When I was in middle school and high school, I went to mainstream and don't like it because the environment is so different from public school to deaf school. I graduated from Gallaudet University last May 2016 with BA in Deaf Studies and minors in Athletic Coaching. I am currently a part time student at Boston University. I am also currently working at the Rhode Island School for the Deaf as a classroom assistant in preschool and a substitute teacher when they needed.Tylerhetu21 (talk) 01:31, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Your recent talk page comments on Talk:Language deprivation in deaf and hard of hearing children were not added to the bottom of the page. New discussion page messages and topics should always be added to the bottom. Your message may have been moved. In the future you can use the "New section" link in the top right. For more details see the talk page guidelines. In addition, I think it may have been an accident, but you removed other talk page threads when adding your message, which is a problem, because it removes records of other discussions people may be actively having. Your message also didn't have a heading (because I suspect you blanked the section you used to start your edit). I've moved your message to the end of the page and gave it a generic heading, but you can easily include a heading on a new section by using the "new section" button at the top of the page, which will have a title field and add your message to the bottom of the page. Thank you! - Purplewowies (talk) 04:38, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
