Welcome!

Hello, Ssyoda, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to an article do not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  ·:· Will Beback ·:· 11:06, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Quixtar article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Village pump". You can also leave a message on my talk page. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 10:55, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Process[edit]

While Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that anyone can edit, it does have policies and guidelines. It's not too much to ask that editors who want to do major re-writes of mature articles make themselves familiar with those rules first. I've posted a welcome message above that contains links to the most important things to know. I know it all seems intimidating, but if you're interested in contributing then stick around and learn the ropes. You may want to start with a less contentious topic instead. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 04:54, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
