October 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Tarl N.. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Drop bear, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. See also WP:FRINGE and WP:HOAX. Do not try to legitimize wide-spread hoaxes. Tarl N. (discuss) 23:55, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted your changes again, please take this to the article talk page. See WP:BRD. The basic problem is that the fossil species described is not the "drop bear" in current usage. I'll open a section on that article's talk page. Tarl N. (discuss) 04:10, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Further, if you want to write a new article about the fossil species, you are welcome to so do. I can provide help on several ways to approach this. The issue is tying it to drop bear. That's what constitutes WP:FRINGE. Tarl N. (discuss) 04:39, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Incidentally, it appears your entire premise is based on a single paper, authored by yourself. Citing yourself is generally considered WP:PROMO and is likely to be reverted. Either way, discuss this on the article's talk page before reinstating your edits - reinstating them a 3rd time constitutes WP:3RR, an immediate trigger for being blocked. Tarl N.
