August 2017[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Tacoma Dome has been reverted.
Your edit here to Tacoma Dome was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrDmBraq320, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80xtMHMCXmk) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 22:58, 15 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Tacoma Dome history[edit]

@Stephennufeld: I saw your recent addition to the Tacoma Dome history that was reverted due to links to YouTube. If you would like to make an addition to the Tacoma Dome's history by specifically noting the first event held there, I would point you to http://www.historylink.org/File/5154 which notes:

The first sporting event scheduled for the new facility was the World's Toughest Rodeo, which took place from April 29 to May 1, 1983.

This is likely sourced from:

Blaine Johnson, "Tacoma Dome Will Be Hosting Prep, Pro Action," Seattle Post-Intelligencer, April 22, 1983, p. B-2;

If your motivation is to improve the content of Wikipedia, please go ahead and reference this page and this fact. If your motivation is to promote a specific person or cause then Wikipedia is not the correct place for that content. Please feel free to contact me here or on my talk page to discuss this if you'd like further clarification. Please continue to contribute to Wikipedia (just as you corrected the link on Fort Steilacoom to the .org domain name). I appreciate your efforts. — RossO (talk) 17:24, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
