May 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Charlize Theron, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Roger (talk) 09:35, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Flags[edit]

Wow, you did a lot of work adding flags today. I appreciate the effort, but unfortunately (?) the use of flags on English wikipedia is a bit more restricted. That has to do with 2 things. Flags break the flow of a sentence, so a sentence on a  Belgium item should never have a flag just in the running sentence, or in the top of an infobox. It is allowed however in the beginning of a country field in a table or infobox. Furthermore, the use of flags of incites irritation (especially in scotland, england, UK related pages), so then the better choice is to avoid them. I ask you to read up to WP:MOSFLAG (click the link and read!) to know what the procedures are, and NOT add flags anymore until you know. As you can see I am already the 3rd person telling you this, so please... don't... If you have any questions, comments, concerns, just post them here on the talk page, and I'll be happy to discuss with you. Have a good day (it's a beautiful day here in the Netherlands ;-)) L.tak (talk) 11:21, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm just wondering why you used the Belgian flag as an example when you say you're in the Netherlands. That's driving me crazy...--Jetstreamer Talk 21:25, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, for starters: they have better beer; and lower taxes... ;-) L.tak (talk) 22:00, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

May 2012[edit]

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Tham Thuy Hang and Kieu Chinh. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Fat&Happy (talk) 21:55, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tham Thuy Hang[edit]

Hi, thanks for your work on this article, for the most part, it looks like a great addition to Wikipedia. However, as it is a biography of a living person, it cannot remain on Wikipedia unless references to reliable sources are added. I'd appreciate it if you would do so, thanks! --joe deckertalk to me 15:07, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Tham Thuy Hang has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. joe deckertalk to me 06:02, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

THanks for adding sources! --joe deckertalk to me 18:12, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
