If I deleted any paragraphs then it was accidental. If you have not already restored the missing text then I will now do so.

An anonymous editor keeps taking all the paragraphs out of history sections. I restore them and then he comes back and removes them again. It is immensely annoying.

Whilst I make every effort to avoid deleting anybody's work, in this case I must have missed your edits. Sorry.GordyB 10:26, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Widnes Vikings

Hi Steve, thanks for the update :) I take it you must work with the club on the club site? If so, you will be a great resource for me as I currently going to reworks the Vikings page to update the contents and quality of the article.

I plan on getting the article into the top quality Rugby League articles, hopefully with my ideas that I have will be able to set it as a benchmark for the other UK rugby league articles to follow suit. As its currently the Australian articles that are leading the way.

Thanks for uploading File:Fred Kelsall in 1930.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:53, 20 December 2009 (UTC). Thanks for uploading File:Arthur Johnson register.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

FA Community Shield

You might want to re-examine the quality of the sources you provided at FA Community Shield. The ESPN one simply states "The game is classed as a non-competitive fixture by the FA", but this is totally unsubstantiated. Since when has the FA considered the Community Shield non-competitive? I think you'd get a few suits at the FA disagreeing with them on that. The Telegraph source is even worse as it just says Ivanovic wasn't going to serve a ban for his red card in the Community Shield; that means nothing in terms of the match's competitiveness, it just means that cards don't carry over to the league season. – PeeJay 18:59, 30 August 2020 (UTC)
