Hi, the reason I reverted your recent edits to the Internet of Things article was for two reasons. First, there is a policy on conflict of interest that effectively means citing yourself, promotion of anything you might connected to in some way, etc. are all frowned upon. In such cases where it would benefit the article but a conflict of interest is present, it's best to explain the changes you'd like to make on the article talk page and let someone else do it. Second, content on Wikipedia must be verifiable in reliable secondary sources and presented with a neutral point of view that presents things with proper weight in relation to the body of reliable sources. The problem in this case is that you added a large block of text about OGC SensorThings and only provided links to its website. People writing for reliable sources independent of the subject need to have written about it in order for it to be a neutral addition -- and even then someone may have a problem with the amount of weight it's given (but I don't personally know enough to make that call). Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Steveliang. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article SensorThings API, you may have a conflict of interest (COI).
