CL templates[edit]

Hey, those are really not needed as they are only used on the group stage page. During the olympics those were used on severael articles (4-5 mostly). Kante4 (talk) 12:37, 29 September 2012 (UTC) Kante4 (talk) 12:37, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yup, good enough. Sorry than for my reverts, had too less sleep it seems. ;) Make it 3, as it's not in the CL page, just teams and group stage page. You should include the reference from the attendance into it (match report), too. Kante4 (talk) 12:53, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Here is what i though of because of the report(s). Is the best way. Kante4 (talk) 13:09, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We haven't used templates in the previous years. So why start now? Arbero (talk) 15:49, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your CL are not useful anymore and it is ok for me to do 3 edit instead of 1. It is a tournament held every year not like World Cup or the Olympics.--Uishaki (talk) 16:34, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

CL Template[edit]

I thought we went over this several times before. Keep your template on the main Champions League page. That's it. There is no edit war, and if there is you are the one propagating it. I will do all 32 edits for each team in the Champions League if I have to. But keep your template off the club seasons pages. Thank you. Italia2006 (talk) 06:34, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Olympic header templates[edit]

Stigni, why do you always want templates for header? Many Wikipedia users always complain about templates. Sometimes, I make templates, but not as always. I only do templates for team rosters and other features including gold medal templates and vice versa, and I don't always think about them all the time. Additionally, I agree with Uishaki. Why must we have a template in every page? It is not so easy as you think. Can you please focus first on other ideas, stop focusing on the templates please.

Here's another thing. I made so much hard work on the nations pages, so please don't make me and others like idiots. I don't myself to be regretful of what I've already done to them just because of the table headers, and the style formats. I spent a month to fix and publish nation pages. It's crazy if we're going to change them from scratch. Think of something simple. Don't think too much on templates please. BE CONSIDERATE! Can you please focus first on the Summer Paralympics nation pages? Most of them have incomplete information. You may provide the official site of Paralympics this year as a source. Thank you.Raymarcbadz (Raymarcbadz) 14:38, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

October 2012[edit]

Thanks for contributing the new article 2012–13 Coppa Italia Lega Pro. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable, by being clearly attributed to reliable sources. Please help by adding more sources to the article you created, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the material (see here for how to do inline referencing). Many thanks! Dnipro has not qualified as of the 27th Round[edit]

Dnipro can still finish in 6th place in the Ukrainian Premier League. And secondly there is no reference of their qualification. Your edit has been reverted. If you cannot provided a reference for the the 28th and 29th round standings the round-by-round will also be reverted. Brudder Andrusha (talk) 22:09, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Recent changes to Edits[edit]

Thankyou for bringing to my attention the recent changes I had made to the page List of Italian Prime Ministers. Not entirely sure what you mean by you didn't feel they were constructive but the editing that I did i felt was necessary as from my own research the information that was already there is misleading. By all means it is arguable that it is one or the other but that is the conclusion I have drawn. To simplify matters the information that is in place is useful but for a more comprehensive answer I feel that my editing is justifiable. 2014 WC qualifiers : belgium[edit]

Belgium is assured of at least a playoff place.

do the math, they are at least above 1 2nd placed team, which means they are at least amongst the best 8 2nd placed teams They have to get more than 22 points, not 16. Playoffs = 2nd place. Norway can't have more than 20points, even if belgium loses all and norway wins all. Thereforce, belgium is at least top 8 amongst the 2nd placed teams

Fradzy (talk)

Please read the rules. Matches against last placed team dont count so Belgium could have 16 points in that ranking. BELGIUM NOT ASSURED PLAYOFF.QED237 (talk) 12:50, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Math behind my reasonning[edit]

It's simple. Which group can have more than 2 teams with 22+ points?

NOT B (Max for Bulgaria : 19) NOT E (Max for Norway : 20)

does Belgium tops that? yes. -> They are at least in the top8 of the 2nd placed teams -> they have at least a playoff's spot

--Fradzy (talk) 12:46, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

QED237 (talk) 12:51, 7 September 2013 (UTC)Please read the rules. Matches against last placed team dont count so Belgium could have 16 points in that ranking. BELGIUM NOT ASSURED PLAYOFF.[reply]

Belgium & probability of the case[edit]

Indeed, you were right. I'm sorry. I checked the math : Belgium has 0.03% chance of not going through (based on every team's respective rankings)

my bad!

Borderline in standings[edit]

Hi

I just opened a discussion at WT:FOOTY, at the section WT:FOOTY#Remove borderline in standings that i thought might be of your interest. One editor keeps inserting borderline in already completed standingstables and i think they should be removed as they always has been? There are no need for borders when group is finished and teams has background colors. I would appreciate your input on the issue. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 14:22, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invitation to the African Destubathon[edit]

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:14, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
