No way! That is awesome to hear! I graduate this coming May. This internship has been amazing and challenging at the same time. I never knew truly how much went into the back end of editing for wikipedia!

Hello Stonecofcbm. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Stonecofcbm. Hello 331 dot, I am not being compensating for any of my editing nor am I expecting to be compensated at any period. I apologize for any of my mistakes and accidents. Wikipedia is still new to me and it has taken a lot to learn the system. Please, let me know what I can do to be a better user of Wikipedia. Thank you!
I am a student at the college. I was asked inside a internship to edit a selection of pages that relate to the College of Charleston.
- Please note that being an intern, even if not paid in money, counts as a paid editor. Per WP:PAID: "Interns are considered employees for this purpose. If they are directed or expected to edit Wikipedia as part of an internship, they must disclose." No problem 331 dot, I will make the disclosure. I apologize again for any inconvenience. Once I make the disclosure on my page, am I then allowed to edit again within the confines of Wikipedia rules as long as it is not a conflict of interest? Thank you!
Also, on my userpage I believe I made the correct additions needed for disclosure, may I ask of your assistance to confirm that it is correct? Thank you!
