The Highlander OneProject[edit]

I added my name.

On a side note, are you skilled in making userboxes? Howzabout making a barnstar? I've got specs for a barnstar in another category, and if you want to try your hand, I'd be sure to give you mad props. :) - Arcayne (cast a spell) 12:55, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See here for the skinny. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 13:37, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added my name too, thank you for inviting me. How about a userbox ? Rosenknospe 15:22, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Great! In the meanwhile, I'm trying and pushing Immortal (Highlander) to GAC. I do a lot of work offline, though.Rosenknospe 15:35, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
So that's what Mandy Patikin did before he made Criminal Minds :D I'm afraid Dead Like Me hasn't been aired in my area yet, so I don't know this one.Rosenknospe 15:47, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm from Strasbourg, France and thus able to pratice a lot of languages only by watching TV. I must admit I'm not craving for more series at the moment, I'm pretty happy watching House MD and Numb3rs (mostly in German, I'm afraid). :D Rosenknospe 16:01, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Userbox[edit]

Great Quickening ! That's the first animated userbox image I've ever seen, good job. I was looking forward for some Clan MacLeod tartan, but on second thought, the real clansmen might have complained :D I think the text is too dark, though. Can you make it lighter, or maybe blue, so that it could be better read ? Rosenknospe 14:45, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PS : Let me know when you start the project. I'm not here tomorrow, I'll be back on Monday. Rosenknospe 14:48, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clown down[edit]

I reverted the vandal and gave him 'wha fo' on his talk page. If he comes back, let me know and I will verbally taunt him some more. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 18:31, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps its time for AIV to drop the clown from the list of contributing editors. Deh boi has done mess'd an' gots tuh goe. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 18:37, 19 August 2007 (UTC) (see? I speak southern :D lol)[reply]

Connor edit[edit]

Could you please explain the revert on the age of death thing to me, pls? - Arcayne (cast a spell) 22:36, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lol. Never mind, Everything is cool. Btw, I fixed the infobox categories of all the characters, though i might have missed one or two. Mostly, I purged the descriptions, box coloring and changed birth to 'found', as Highlander immortals are all foundlings. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 23:13, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That's okay. Maybe you could take a look at the template page. I tried to fix it, but for all the changes that appear in the edit screen, they don't show up in the resulting page. Grrr.

Do you watchlist all the Highalnder pages? If so, keep an eye on them for a while, so that some jolly joker doesn't revert them back. I think that if some edits pile up on top of them, they should be okay. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 23:19, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dead Like Me[edit]

Hello, I noticed you placed a copyright tag on Dead Like Me in wikiquote some time ago. I don't have an account on wikiquote but would like to edit it down so the tag can be removed. Am I allowed to do that? Stormin' Foreman 02:58, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure! Most of our editing is done by anonymous editors. But why not register your Wikipedia username there, too? One day in the foreseeable future, we'll have single cross-project usernames anyway, so why not get credit for your work? As for the check-copyright tag, our practice has been to accept removal if the user reduces the quoting to our informal guidelines of 3-5 per episode max (for each episode, not on average). See q:Talk:Dead Like Me#Copyvio problem for more information. I encourage you to join the discussion there, whatever your ID may be. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 03:25, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Highlander[edit]

Hey I'm trying to keep the DVD section in the Highlander article and some jokers keep moving it out. The info are all facts and cited either to the DVD's themselves allowable. What's with those editors trying to remove them. I'm asking you as you helped contribute info to these sections. 151.200.237.167 02:11, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Highlander[edit]

It was not vandalism. I was trying to create articles for the new characters--SGCommand (talkcontribs) 17:28, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, give it up. I was adding to what others said. Kageskull 13:42, 21 September 2007 (UTC) I went ahead and re-edited my comments. Can we please move on? Kageskull 13:44, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cyber Sunday[edit]

Yeah, it would seem that IP was vandalizing the article so fast, even two people couldn't keep up reverting it. So tedious. Well, Twinkle speeds things up considerably, a lot less clicks. Gavyn Sykes 18:07, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why not download Firefox? It doesn't take long. I prefer it to IE, but not all people do. Gavyn Sykes 18:12, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I actually stopped using Internet Explorer once I downloaded Firefox. It depends on your preferences, but Firefox stores bookmarks in a drop-down list rather than a sidebar and is where tabbed browsing originated from. Most programs work just fine on Firefox, though there's one site for a computer course I'm taking that requires IE, for whatever reason. Gavyn Sykes 18:18, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dead Like Me GAC?[edit]

I noticed on the Dead Like Me talk page it says it's a GA nominee, but it's not listed on WP:GAC. Surely one of the two is wrong. I was going to re-review the article, but I wasn't sure if it was really a nominee or not. Let me know if you figure it out and if it is indeed a nominee. Drewcifer 22:24, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
