Adding Formatted reference on wiki articles

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown

For this Adding a well formatted references is very easy to do. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it and then click on "templates", then choose the most appropriate template and fill as many details as you can, this will add a well formatted reference that would be helpful in case the link web URL becomes inactive (dead/link rot) after some time. thanks and regards-- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 06:46, 8 May 2012 (UTC)

I knew that yash had finished his boards, got a vacation in real life and came to wikipedia. now due to the school going back to real life and taking a wikibreak. is this your case too ? from the 2 years i conclude that you are also in 11. Well real life is definitely more imp than wiki, but both would be more enjoyable if you could make a balance between the two. Seems like I hid it for these many days!......yes..he was here even before his exams.He told me day-before-yesterday in fb that his tuitions' have started and the school will start soon.He said that his wikiactivity will decrease.That's it...he never told me he would retire.I would probably not completely retire for one more year.The next year..I'm not sure.I will surely open Wiki once in a while.I would call it semi-retirement. In guj, 11th is as hot as 12th. We have board exams in 11th also. And to worsen it, we got sem-system (4 board exams in all) 2 in 11 and again 2 in 12. Then guj-set then NEET and avereg will be taken of all this crap and then admission. But this also isn't the entire reason. Many things happened in the last week which no one will wish that should happen with them and I seriously can't take this and all anymore. It is badly depressing me. So, I quit. Try editing User:DBigXray you will get a notice ;) yup even i had a short and unpleasant experience with him, although its not correct to discuss other editors (as per policies) i am doing this as you have asked if you made a mistake.I had seen his comments and RFP also. actually that user has recently started using stiki and had approached me for some problems. the user does seem to have made many edits using Stiki see WP:STiki/leaderboard. but he also reverts a lot of good faith edits and un-sourced edits as vandalism, but thats not our problem, hope he will improve gradually. ok fixed it with |format=%%i|maxarchsize=150000. so it will create archives as 1 2 3 and so on till the archive size is 150 Kb then it will create the next number-- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 11:50, 10 May 2012 (UTC)

Well he is right to some extent, Our talk pages are meant to be used to collaborate to improve the wikipedia, not to have a chit chat like myspace (Myspace was similar to facebook but old now) but then Acc to Jimmy Wales, Even wiki editors deserve to have fun, which is allowed in any way as long as it does not cause disruption. besides I guess our discussion was more concentrated towards increasing your wiki-experience and giving wiki-tips. so thats perfectly ok, dont worry. cheers -- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 07:26, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

Sukhoi 30 did not had the {{WP India}}so i added one and assessed. saw your comments too. glad to see that you came up with evidence. the attack was not good on your part, but whats more imp is you learnt from it. A lot of people there (as was evident) rely on Youtube videos for learning and use it as a proof . Even i had to clear a lot of unverified wp:ORs from Indian articles in my early days here. That's a real eye-opener!..in the ICBM page...I once saw that Pakistan was developing an ICBM and would be tested soon..so I opened the ref...it was some Pakistan Daily....in one of its articles..it was blaming that Is Osama in India?...the article was before Osama was caught and killed in Pakistan.I feel pity for the common man of Pakistan..they are always given wrong info.We can't help it.Srikar Kashyap<<Talk>>15:18, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

My suggestion

you're supposed to replace "Your user-name" with your username and "your nick name" with your nick name (if any). If you do not want to mention any nickname, just leave "|signame=your nick name" whole section out. Also replace "<any descriptive text>" with a descriptive text of your choice (it will make it easier to locate). Now I present you with a few illustrative example of what I mean.

Yes...it it difficult to leave Wiki completely...but I will try hard before I return......the main reason is that I have no encouragement to work in wiki from my family..they all scold me for wasting my time here..but still I went on for over an year...I can't bear them any longer...my parents(and family) expect super marks from me who mostly sits on computer......that is not wrong but still....I personally think I have to dedicate most of my time this 2 yrs..for studies...and will occasionally ping you.... My family doesn't know anything about wiki. Sometimes if you think you are right (that wiki is not responsible for your low grades), then dont listen to anyone (parents, teachers, bhabis, koth(s) etc...). You know that wiki is not the reason for that so don't do retire. Don't even semi-retire. Come rarely (thrice in a week), on alternate days and do wiki just for 1 hour (you are free to vandalize my talk and userpage). But please don't retire. Change in title

I better to add ICSE CBSE and SSC info in the same article. Since JGS is a group of institutions let the title be Johnson Grammar School.Remove the Nacharam in the title. I'll add up ICSE and CBSE info along with the present content

You are right only if we provide enough information ! Though they come under the same name...they are owned and managed by different people.Morever, they are located in different places across Hyderabad with exceptions of one SSC and one CBSE branch which are located in the same premises.BTW DBX...you need not mention {{tps}} in my talk!.. I'm sure it will lead to conflicts and duplication(On my experience as user:megaposiedon). Revert back the redirection and its optimum to go with single article.   • Project Coordinators have been chosen for effective administration of the project. Dipankan001 has been chosen as the lead coordinator. Vibhijain and TheSpecialUser has been elected as the coordinator and the vice-coordinator respectively. Each placeholder is expected to distribute awards to those who have assisted in completing the task of the month. General administration of the project will be done by the lead coordinator. The coordinator will have a general watch over the project to make sure that it is not inactive, along with preparing the newsletter. The vice-coordinator will further invite those users, who have been regularly contributing to IPL related articles, to join the project. The term for each coordinator will be of 6 months.
  • Chennai Super Kings have been chosen as the collaboration of the month. Editors will try to get the article to FA or GA status. At the end on the month, contributing editors will be given the following awards:
    The IPL barnstar - Will be given to all those who will help in getting the article to FA/GA status.
    The golden wiki barnstar - Will be given to the editor with most number of edits on the article during the month of June.
    The silver wiki barnstar - Will be given to the editor with the second most number of edits on the article during the month of June.
    The bronze wiki barnstar - Will be given to the editor with the third most number of edits on the article during the month of June.
    The citation barnstar - Will be given to the top 3 editors who will improve and add most number of refs.(The editors are requested to mention "ref+" or "refimprove" in their edit summary; in order to make reviewing easy)
    The copyedit barnstar - Will be given to the top 3 editors who will make the most number of copyedits. This includes minor changes, such as neutralizing, grammar correction, etc.
    The working editor's barnstar - Will be given to the top 3 editors who will dedicate most time in making new sections, fixing them (such as renaming, making sub-sections, etc.) or adding information which was not previously present in the article (recent announcements, facts, creating tables, etc.).
  • Members of the project can now add Template:User IPL Member to their userpage, which will indicate that they are an active member of WikiProject IPL. Also editor can award the IPL barnstar or the IPL barnstar of Merit to those users who are greatly involved in the project.
