    • Added DirectSqlStore to client so that it can directly access the repository database, and not require creating any tables on the client
    • Bug fixing on the client extension, and preparing it for first deployment
    • Less edit conflicts due to a smarter conflict detection
    • Better recent changes comments on the client
    • Clean up on the backend for entity artefacts
    • The statement UI enables to create statements and displays them, but has still a few glitches
    • The client now accesses the data on the server directly, and the data is not replicated anymore
    • Added a number of profiler calls

    • User preference on the client to hide Wikidata edits
    • Statements can be created and saved now
    • Statements are properly styled in JavaScript and non-JavaScript version

Yes, thank you, I had noticed. Personally I'm not worried about incivility (except in so far as it deters would-be new comers from contributing to wikipedia, which should be an issue we should all be concerned with). I'm mulling over whether to take R&D 100 Awards to the Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. I think I'll wait until the current AfD is over and the dust has settled. Agreed regarding the retention of newcomers. I think that R&D 100 Awards is probably a merge candidate for R&D Magazine, so have just requested undeletion of the latter. We'll see what happens. -- Trevj (talk) 21:58, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

Java Intermediate Language

I notice you've merge Java Intermediate Language into SableVM. However I doubt the claim you added that "Some versions of the SableVM use Java Intermediate Language, an intermediate language (which is a subset of XML) representing the type structure of a Java program." On of the two referenced papers only mentions it was used in combination with Soot. None of them mentions anything about SableVM. —Ruud 00:04, 10 December 2012 (UTC)

cleanup tag

You just added this tag to History of the Philippines (citations). You're right, it's not an article, it's just a list of citations which I transclude in lots of places. (Hence the name).

I'd move it, but it's not clear from the hat-note where to.

WP:PROD

{{Proposed deletion}} should "only be used if no opposition is to be expected." When using this method of deletion it would be best to apply some logic. 1977 is an upcoming album by one of the world's best known record producer-artists. Whilst I agree the article might fall down on notability nominating it for a prod delete without discussion is not a correct application of the policy. Its highly likely that in the near future the album will gain more notoriety. A search of Google for reliable sources as seen here, shows at least 5 on the first page that could be used to expand the article. Also upon release its highly likely that more information would become available. This means that the deletion decision is controversial and hence you should have opted instead for {{Article for deletion}} instead. Finally if an album by a major artist is going to be released in the near future (a.k.a a week) it should be redirected rather than deleted. Btw this isnt me scolding you, its simply pointing out that the use of Prod was incorrect under these circumstances. — Lil_℧niquℇ №1 [talk] 10:38, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

rm PROD of List of Syracuse Orange bowl games

I removed the PROD for the List of Syracuse Orange bowl games. Although, if I had my druthers, I believe that this content should be merged with the university's football article. However, this is one article of 30+ in a category where there appears to be an established concensus to keep the information regarding the bowl games seperate.

Syracuse University is a major US university.

This really doesn't meet the criteria of a PROD, since this would be a controvertial deletion.

In American college football, teams with a certain ranking and/or win-loss record are invited to play in certain special post-season "bowl games," such as the Rose Bowl Game. There are many more of these "bowl" games around the country that are notable. Roodog2k (talk) 18:56, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

    • Deployed new code on wikidata.org. All changes can be found here
    • Updated demo system
    • http://test2.wikipedia.org now uses http://wikidata.org for getting language links and wikidata.org edits affecting the existing articles on test2 show up in RecentChanges (if they are not hidden)
    • Statements (think of “population: 2.000.000” and similar things) are taking shape in the interface. They are still pretty buggy though at this point.
    • It is now possible to link to images on Wikimedia Commons in a statement (think of “image: sundown_at_the_beach.png” for example)
    • Links are now protocol-relative (bugzilla:42534)
    • No longer possible to create new items and set labels when database is set to read-only
    • Added more tests to the GeoCoordinate parser
    • Make use of EditEntity in removeclaims API
    • Removed many singletons to reduce global state
    • Made SpecialSetLabel work with non-item entities
    • Improved settings system
    • Improved options of ValueFormatters
    • Improved options of ValueParsers
    • Moved label+description uniqueness check out of transaction to avoid deadlocks and changed it to only be enforced for edits changing any violating values
    • Fixed serialization of SiteArray
    • ~=[,,_,,]:3
    • Had to fix reporting of aliases in wbsearchentities again
    • Implemented integration of baserevids for statements UI API calls for editconflict detection for statements/claims/snaks
    • Universal Language Selector fallback fix for Selenium tests
    • Report URL to entity in wbsearchentites API module
    • Moved the demo system to a larger server
    • Fixed several bugs in Statements user interface, most notably, adding Statements to existing sections and layout fixes
    • Added wikibase API module on the client to provide information about the associated repo (e.g. url, script path, article path)
    • A bunch of messages for autocomments were fixed (they are automatically added as an edit summary for edits on items and co in Wikidata - for example: “‎Changed [en] description: Finnish rock band”)

    • Edit links are now hidden when viewing old revision
    • Worked on search field for WikibaseSolr

    • New features in the statement user interface (references counter/heading)
    • JavaScript editing for table showing labels and description of the same item in different languages

    • Special page for unconnected pages, that is pages on the client that are not connected to items on the repository
