August 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar has been reverted.
Your edit here to College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.194023597327554.50104.100001597447027&l=0ab1d49be5&type=1) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:08, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

November 2011[edit]

Your recent editing history at India shows that you are in danger of breaking the three-revert rule, or that you may have already broken it. An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Breaking the three-revert rule often leads to a block.

If you wish to avoid being blocked, instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You may still be blocked for edit warring even if you do not exceed the technical limit of the three-revert rule if your behavior indicates that you intend to continue to revert repeatedly. —SpacemanSpiff 14:08, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:28, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on India. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.  Abhishek  Talk 14:50, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sujit900. You shouldn't add to discussions that are already archived but can start a new discussion on the article talk page. Archived discussions are unlikely to be viewed by anyone and are not supposed to be changed (because those discussions are considered closed). Let me know if you need some help negotiating the talk page. --regentspark (comment) 15:07, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Sujit900, and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia!

I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you worked on, Parala Maharaja Engineering College, Berhampur, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

It helps to explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the Help Desk. Thanks again for contributing! Oddbodz (talk) 20:36, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Susmita das has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Request reason:

not aware of such rule, I was trying to create a biography page of the person getting information from the person's website. And I promise such incidence will not occur in future, please consider this. Thank you. sujit_km 18:05, 24 October 2016 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You have been warned about breaches of copyright in the past, so you really can't claim you were not aware of it. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:45, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You mean you are not aware of copyright? Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 01:18, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
So, when i'll be unblocked or I'm blocked forever ? --sujit_km 14:30, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
You are blocked until you make an acceptable request for unblock that convinces a reviewing admin that you understand the reason for your block and that there will be no further problems. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:11, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I understand this fact, now onward it'll not happen, I promise . I'll go through all the docs about the copyright. If you see this further then you can take action accordingly. Please unblock me . Thanks --sujit_km 08:28, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
You need to put that in a new unblock request using {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, which will bring it to the attention of admins reviewing unblock requests. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:38, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Request reason:

I was creating a biography page and content I wrote has most of the part borrowed from the page, due to copyright issues I got block. I understand this copyright concern. I promise that such incidents will not happen in the future. I'll go through all the docs of wikipedia about creating a new article. Please consider my unblock request. Regards sujit_km 15:01, 30 October 2016 (UTC)

Accept reason:

OK. Please understand that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Huon (talk) 21:09, 31 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you were unblocked, what edits would you make? FixCop (talk) 16:39, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Most of my activities on wikipedia is translating english language article to Odia, I'll keep that up. Besides there are lot of articles about the state of Odisha which I'll be adding in recent futures and I'll make sure that doesn't violate the copyrights ofcourse. sujit_km 03:45, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
