Need help with inserting an image[edit]

This is an example image

{{helpme}}

I'm trying to insert an image into the page next to the subject but I can't figure out how to do it. I'm trying to enhance the page at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerry_and_Kay_Danes which I am associated with through their legal advisors. I'm new to this stuff.

The image I wish to insert is: Image:Kay Danes.jpg but it keeps coming out too big and I'm not sure how to insert.

If your only problem is that the image is coming out too big, you're almost there. See Help:Image for full syntax for inserting an image, including how to make it smaller and to 'float' it at the side of the page; I've floated an image in this section as an example (the code I used for that was [[File:Bad Title Example.png|thumb|right|This is an example image]]). Hope that helps! --ais523 10:33, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Request Protection from Vandalism[edit]

Longhair... could you please assist us to protect our main userpage from vandalism. We are aware who the user is and the matter is being dealt with by us. The offender has registered a website kaydanes.org which is a false and malicious attack made by a person that is known to us, against our client [Kerry and Kay Danes].

The offender details can be provided should you require. We would request a protection page on all material on the site in the interests of protecting our client from further defamation.

Thank you for your assistance and we look forward to your support and guidance. sunnyroe 06:15, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Camatta Lempens Pty Ltd http://www.camattalempens.com.au/contact.html

I am afraid that that page cannot be protected as it isn't a 'malicious attack'. Auroranorth (sign) 07:22, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Regardless of whether the keydanes.org website is an attack site, the link offers no information of any value (just links to other sites) and therefore shouldn't be included within the article. -- Longhair\talk 07:25, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Generally speaking, pages aren't protected unless they suffer sustained vandalism attacks or edit wars; after all, this would prevent legitimate editors from improving the article. The link is being removed as inappropriate by other editors; I suggest you just use the normal Wikipedia method of removing the link whenever it's inserted, and warning the user who adds it that the link isn't appropriat for the article. --ais523 11:24, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Conflict of Interest[edit]

As you have referrred to the Danes as "my client" in an edit summary [1], I would like to draw your attention to the guidleine Wikipedia:Conflict of interest in editing the article on Kerry and Kay Danes and any related articles. Regards--Golden Wattle talk 23:22, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
