Review and CopyEdit: Hello Sloane, great work on the edit. I think it is much clearer and has better links than the previous one. I might recommend a bit of elaboration on the regions of the country that these fish are found within. You mention they are found in central parts but some more specific named examples would help the reader gain a better understanding of the biome in which they can be found. Great work on the links and sources however. Overall this is great work and I'm happy you were able to catch some plagiarized content.

Edited: Perch are classified as carnivores, choosing waters where smaller fish, shellfish, and insect larvae are abundant. The Perch can be found in central portions of the country in fresh water ponds, lakes, streams, or rivers. These fish have been known to inhabit freshwater all over the world but, are known to inhabit be found in the Great Lake region, in particular Lake Erie. These fish inhabit bodies of water where vegetation and debris is readily accessible. In the spring when the Perch chooses to spawn, they use this vegetation to conceal their eggs from predators [1].

I really like the setup of your sandbox, and how you put in bold what each section is there for, it organizes the page very well and makes it pleasing to the eye. I think the edit you want to make is really good, sentence flow is really important and plagiarism is very bad, as we all know! Looking at the perch wikipedia page, I think it would be pretty cool if your group added a few photos of the internal structures of the organism, especially locations that your team chooses to dissect. The page would definitely benefit with more images, and adding ones that show the work you did in class would be pretty neat! Also adding a section on the scales and the types we learned in lecture would be pretty cool as well. Overall I think you have some great edits and a great start and I'm excited to see how your page will look at the end of the semester!

Hi Sloane, I think you did a great job of rephrasing the original text and making it easier to follow. In your second sentence, instead of "central part of the country", I would specifically say "central part of the United States" as wikipedia has a global audience. In addition, I think maybe a better way to phase your third sentence is: These fish can be found in freshwater all over the world, and are know to inhabit the Great Lake region, in particular Lake Erie. Finally, have you thought about what image contribution you will make?Scientist06 (talk) 19:38, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
