Contribution to Cairns City Council

Greetings, thankyou for your addition to the Cairns City Council page. However, I have removed the link that you added. I am not trying to censor you, but wikipedia is not a link farm, I would encourage you to add some content to the article (such as what the original promise was, etc), not just a link to a myspace page. Please also bear in mind that if you are adding criticize to the page you must back it up with references to reliable sources (such as the cairns post, cairns sun or better yet the council minutes document in question (which you could request under Freedom of Information)). As a matter of full disclosure, I am an employee of CCC, but I would like to stress again, I am not trying to censor you. I am happy you help you as much as I can. Hi Fossy, thanks for your comment, and pleased to hear you're not the censoring type. I have reinstated the link and placed some words & references around it. I dont accept your statement this site is not a link farm. I could not count the number of links on the CCC site there are so many. cheers Super...

Greetings once again. Thankyou for adding some content to the page, however a lot of it could be counted as Original Research. I have edited it to give it a more Neutral point of view. I have also inserted some {{fact}} templates into place that references are required (Please see WP:sources for more info on accaptable sources). One last note, My comment on a "link farm" was in reference to the myspace link on the article page. Myspace, Youtube etc are not considered to be reliable sources - so are not valid references.
