Regarding the IndyCar crash, it did indeed happen on lap 11. Watch the video of the crash on Youtube, it ticks from lap 10 to 11 shortly before the crash. CycloneGU (talk) 23:22, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks I and others discussed this on the discussion page and have a proper source from the official scoring by IndyCar authorities it has been changed to 11 and I am in total agreement surprising that all of the media outlets were wrong. Well, media outlets rush their stories. The red flag actually came out on the 12th lap and mysteriously ticked to 13 before the commercial, leaving the announcer to say "We're only on lap 13", which is where the media outlets took their information from.
