January 2016[edit]

Information icon Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to North Korea and weapons of mass destruction. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. Meters (talk) 05:58, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I will not spread my official propaganda here. I have found a more serious purpose, and have proposed a name change to Defensive gun use. The article plainly and uncontroversially, and as the article itself states, is only a discussion of this concept in the context of the U.S. I have therefore proposed a name change to reflect such, although I don't quite know that I was able to template it properly (Forgive me, as I am presently the only person in my nation with access to the Internet.) can you help, comrade?Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un (talk) 06:01, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have no problem with the suggested name change. Just keep the jokes out of article space. Your funny account name will likely soon be blocked per WP:IMPERSONATE. Unless you care to prove your identity? Meters (talk) 06:12, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
PS Please don't nuke me. Meters (talk) 06:14, 7 January 2016 (UTC)m[reply]
Many thanks for the help fixing the template, comrade! I found myself the template to mark the page as humor, per your advising on impersonate. Cheers! Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un (talk) 06:17, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) Creating an account in the name of a foreign dictator of a country with a long history of human rights abuses and provocation of its neighbor to the South and that has just detonated some sort of nuclear device -- oh, yes, that does seem humorous. Oh, I'm very sorry that the guy with the stick up his ass didn't find it so funny! Sorry, General! Next time I will think more about your delicate sensibilities before I write my jokes.Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un (talk) 06:46, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because the username, Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un, matches the name of a well-known, living person.

If you are the person represented by this username, please note that the practice of blocking such usernames is to protect you from being impersonated, not to discourage you from editing Wikipedia. You may choose to edit under a new username (see information below), but keep in mind that you are welcome to continue to edit under this username. If you choose to do so, we ask the following:

  1. Please be willing and able to prove your identity to Wikipedia.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Your userpage[edit]

I've deleted it as a blatant BLP vio. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 06:36, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

So be it. If it is nuclear war you want, it is nuclear war you shall get it. Prepare for a long and cold nuclear winter, Anna Freud. This is the last time the West laughs at Kim Jong-un!Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un (talk) 06:40, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

AN report[edit]

I have reported your disruptive humor with this edit: [1]. Since you can't appreciate how distasteful your humor has become, I hope action will ensue to prevent you from continuing further. Thank you.--John Cline (talk) 06:54, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

New account[edit]

It appears that he is now User:Supreme Leader of Wikipedia.

Anna Frodesiak (talk) 06:59, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Supreme: This is the part where you say that you are here to help build the encyclopedia and that you will stop with the joking around. We are volunteers here and what you are doing now is wasting our time. Could you please make only useful contributions from now on? We'd appreciate it and would prefer it more than you being booted off or you staying and being unconstructive. What do you say? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 07:02, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and I've blocked your User:Supreme Leader of Wikipedia account. That isn't appropriate either. Let's discuss things here. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 07:04, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Anna!! My, my, my! Everyone is so particular here! What's wrong with that name? Anyway, I have certainly tried to make one highly constructive edit, proposing a much needed name change of an evidently and obviously mis-named article (if you read the article you will see it is clearly only about the US and makes no attempt to discuss any other country and says so. Thus it requires a re-name.). I shall try to make some more at some point. But I keep getting blocked, and I don't know if my template worked. Defensive gun use to Defensive gun use in the United States actually worked. I keep checking and don't see it listed.Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un (talk) 07:15, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
