Demolition of Babri Masjid

You should have been able to move it over the redirect since there are no edits to the redirect page. Anyway, I've moved it back for you.--regentspark (comment) 12:48, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

I have done a lot of moves, but I could not move this one. I clicked move, the difference between revisions came up, I entered the edit summary and clicked save. And the page came loaded into Demolition of Babri Mosque. I tried this a few times, and the same thing happened. Beats me. Thanks for moving it back. :) Suraj T 04:58, 10 December 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 9

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Solar inverter, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page UL (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Re: Hebron School

Hi Suraj,

Thank you for your message. I'm Alan, an alumnus of Hebron School, Ooty. I appreciate your concerns about some of the information lacking reliable citations. For this reason, I have re-added all the deleted information but have also included "citation needed" for each bit of information.

I hope you understand that it is not part of Wikipedia etiquette to immediately delete information without consulting other editors too. I urge you to leave the information that is already there, and do feel free to add citations and more information as necessary.

Thank you,

Alan Alan.Gilfroy (talk) 20:42, 9 December 2012 (UTC)

Re: Hebron School Copyright Violation

Also, there is no copyright violation. The information was added to the Wikipedia page by the school Admin before Education World published it. It is more likely that Education World got their information from WIkipedia.

Thank you again.

Notice of Dispute resolution discussion

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute in which you may have been involved. Content disputes can hold up article development, therefore we are requesting your participation to help find a resolution. The thread is "Hebron School, Ooty".

Guide for participants

If you wish to open a DR/N filing, click the "Request dispute resolution" button below this guide or go to Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard/request for an easy to follow, step by step request form.

What this noticeboard is:
  • It is an early step to resolve content disputes after talk page discussions have stalled. If it's something we can't help you with, or is too complex to resolve here, our volunteers will point you in the right direction.
What this noticeboard is not:
  • It is not a place to deal with the behavior of other editors. We deal with disputes about article content, not disputes about user conduct.
  • It is not a place to discuss disputes that are already under discussion at other dispute resolution forums.
  • It is not a substitute for the talk pages: the dispute must have been discussed extensively on a talk page (not just through edit summaries) before resorting to DRN.
  • It is not a court with judges or arbitrators that issue binding decisions: we focus on resolving disputes through consensus, compromise, and explanation of policy.
Things to remember:
  • Discussions should be civil, calm, concise, neutral, and objective. Comment only about the article's content, not the other editors. Participants who go off-topic or become uncivil may be asked to leave the discussion.
  • Let the other editors know about the discussion by posting {{subst:drn-notice}} on their user talk page.
  • Sign and date your posts with four tildes "~~~~".
  • If you ever need any help, ask one of our volunteers, who will help you as best as they can. You may also wish to read through the FAQ page located here and on the DR/N talkpage.

Please take a moment to review the simple guide and join the discussion. Thank you! EarwigBot operator / talk 21:27, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

Badaga Language

Sir, "Gospel of Luke" is one of the oldest written badaga literature. http://books.google.co.in/books/about/The_Gospel_of_Luke.html?id=wv1IewAACAAJ&redir_esc=y I am building the online version of this as the copyright has expired. Hence added the link. If you find that the content is very less in the blog, hence it should be removed - I agree, i am typing the content at free time, and would take some time to see more posts. If you find that the blogs are not to be linked in wikipedia (as per external links guidelines), please respond. I shall find alternatives to register a website for this. Regards, Kishore. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kishorechan (talkcontribs) 15:48, 25 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi Kishore. You can call me Suraj. No need for "sir" and such, as I am a volunteer here as you are. I am not sure of the Gospel of Luke you mention, as I can't read the text in the link you mention. You say that you are typing out an entire book in your blog, essentially, "digitizing" the "copyright expired" book? I'd say that is a commendable effort. But, here in wikipedia, though you may have written out every word in the book, we can't allow your blog (or your website which you propose) as a source for content in articles. The thing is, since people from any part of the world may read the article, the content referenced to a blog or personal website (which "we" know to be true) can't be allowed as the people who read the article can't verify if the author of the blog/personal website has the facts right. You may find this true if you found something you wanted to know in a Wikipedia article, but realized that the content is referenced to a blog/website of a person in say Australia. If you have any more clarifications, I would be glad to help you. Suraj T 17:51, 25 December 2012 (UTC)

Last warning!

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at me, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Whitetararaj (talk) 15:46, 31 December 2012 (SST)

LOL.. Youngest wikipedian you say? I doubt it. Anyway, I'd advice you to concentrate in improving articles. And quit trolling. Suraj T 14:03, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
