A tag has been placed on Suyash Lahoti requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

June 2014[edit]

Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Suyash Lahoti. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. 220 of Borg 10:31, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning[edit]

This is not Facebook. Wikipedia is not a social networking site; it is a project to build an online encyclopedia. If you are not interested in pursuing this goal, please find another outlet for your activities. If you create a page about yourself again, you will be blocked from editing. There's a pattern here[edit]

Hello Suyzz, and welcome to Wikipedia.

Here's a trend you might want to think about:

  • You created an article named “Suyash Lahoti” on May 11 which a quite experienced Wikipedia editor marked for speedy deletion and which an administrator agreed with.
  • You re-created an article named “Suyash Lahoti” on June 7 which another quite experienced Wikipedia editor marked for speedy deletion and which a second administrator agreed with.
  • Now you've re-created an article named “Suyash Lahoti” on June 13 which yet another quite experienced Wikipedia editor has marked for speedy deletion and which a third administrator has agreed with.

I hope you're beginning to see the pattern here. The page you're writing doesn't fit in the place you're trying to put it, and trying it over and over really isn't going to change that.

I know this must be very frustrating. I'd like to suggest that you take a few minutes and read the useful information assembled at WP:BLP, which definitely applies to what you're writing, and which everyone else is going to follow. After reading that, you may choose to write your page differently, or to post it to a different location (such as User:Suyzz), or to focus your efforts on another subject. Whatever you choose, you should also read at least the intro part of Wikipedia:Your first article, and take special note of the parts in bold text, then go through the rest at your convenience.

I hope this information is helpful to you.
