Welcome![edit]

Hello, Swe123123, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Draft:Hojat Rahimi, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:29, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

March 2019[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Nafisa Kamal. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. The nomination has been made. You can—and should—add your remarks to the AfD explaining why the page should remain. (Please cite Wikipedia policies and reliable sources as you do so.) However, you cannot abort the nomination by removing the tag from the article. In fact, you made a huge mess of the situation by doing so, as there are now two extra AfD pages that got created and will need to be cleaned up.C.Fred (talk) 15:41, 9 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Nafisa Kamal. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Please leave the entire AfD boilerplate in place. The administrators who close the AfD will appreciate having the code available that's in the comment.C.Fred (talk) 15:55, 9 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An extended welcome[edit]

Hi Swe123123. Welcome to Wikipedia. I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Wikipedia: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Wikipedia by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily.

Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.

If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Wikipedia's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter. Regardless, editing in a manner that promotes an entity or viewpoint over others can appear to be detrimental to the purpose of Wikipedia and the neutrality required in articles.

Some topic areas within Wikipedia have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.

I hope you find some useful information in all this, and welcome again. --Ronz (talk) 17:01, 12 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

March 2019[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Naila Nayem, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. EvergreenFir (talk) 20:47, 12 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Non-existent categories[edit]

Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Inchi Inchi Prem, please make sure that the category page actually exists. In some cases, it may be appropriate to create a new category in accordance with Wikipedia's categorization guidelines, but it is usually better to use the most specific available existing category. It is never appropriate to leave a page categorised in a non-existent category, i.e. one whose link displays in red. You may find it helpful to use the gadget HotCat, which tests whether a category exists before saving a change. Thank you. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 02:35, 13 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

AFD[edit]

You can only vote once at AFD. You need to strike <s>the vote you don't want</s>. Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 13:00, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

But when I say "vote", don't get the idea it's a vote - Wikipedia:Polling is not a substitute for discussion. Cabayi (talk) 13:02, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's been done for you. Cabayi (talk) 13:05, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

A checkuser has confirmed a high likelihood that you were using sockpuppets. Before I could consider lifting the block, you would need to provide some extraordinarily persuasive evidence that the Checkuser was mistaken. That evidence has not been provided.
As noted below, please stop pinging admins. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 18:05, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tasnova Hoque Elvin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
