Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident with which you may be involved. Thank you. Vitalis196 (talk) 20:57, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This article was deleted due to vandalism and continuous false information being published. This was not the intended use of the page I created, so I requested that it be deleted. There is no evidence that the page was deleted due to political reasons, but rather for the reasons stated above and to stop the article becoming unreliable due to the erroneous and unsourced information being edited into it. September 2020[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Generation Yes (Scotland), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. The information you are deleting is sourced and does not appear to be vandalism. Please explain your concerns at the talk page.C.Fred (talk) 22:04, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies, I did not intend to remove any templates and thought content had to be deleted in order to delete the page. I’m not familiar with the workings of Wikipedia so was unsure how to go about requesting the deletion. Thank you for letting me know that I did this the wrong way, I will keep this in mind should I be in a similar situation in the future.

The information in the history section, relating to the founders of the organisation lists false names, as well as fictional characters as the cofounders. The only cofounders were Kirsten Thornton and Graeme West, and the article used to back up the inclusion of Rhiannon Spear was false and challenged at the time of the article’s publication. The correction of the article is not available online as far as I can see. If the article cannot be kept free from editors including fictional characters in the list of founders then it would be best if the article about the now defunct organisation, was deleted. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at [[:Generation Yes (Scotland)]], you may be blocked from editing. You have been (repeatedly) informed that your actions are disruptive. At this point they go beyond good-faith edits and constitute vandalism. Please stop now. --Vitalis196 (talk) 00:27, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I’m not sure where you get the idea that I’M the vandal? I’ve not been the one adding fictional names to the article Swivvlekmk (talk) 00:37, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Since your account is six years old, I'm going to assume you're familiar with WP:No personal attacks. Please focus on constructive comments to improve the article. You will get far more traction for your position if you present reliable sources that show the extra names were not founders than if you continue to attack other editors. —C.Fred (talk) 01:55, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

How can I prove someone doesn’t exist? Genuine question Swivvlekmk (talk) 02:05, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
