Castilian war[edit]

Hello, the results before and after the war are important. They show what impact it had on the country. The most important things were written down by me. In my opinion the edit was vandalism since the war results got deleted. Nothing was made up. AstroSaturn (talk) 12:50, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again, the results is after the war is more important. also yes I know before and after the war is important. but you can just add it in the Aftermath. And i think you don't really understand what is vandalism especially in Wikipedia. Syazwi Irfan (talk) 03:52, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you wanna see true vandalism go check my user page revision history and check the edit by "Kones88". Syazwi Irfan (talk) 05:02, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Vandalism on Wikipedia is the deletion of facts. That's what happened. But I get your point AstroSaturn (talk) 14:19, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well not really. If you see what Wikipedia see as Vandalism its either putting an insult, putting untruthful facts and etc... but not deletion of facts. there is article for it which you can find it here. Syazwi Irfan (talk) 17:00, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Kota Batu (1578) moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Battle of Kota Batu (1578). Mughal empire flag[edit]

Hi. Please note that the flag you're adding is a known fake flag. Also, per WP:MOS, in particular per WP:INFOBOXFLAG, we avoid flags in the infobox. You should discuss this on the talk page if you believe the flag is not a fake flag. RegentsPark (comment) 14:37, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Flag removal was undiscussed Syazwi Irfan (talk) 14:41, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
and the flag comes from this. Syazwi Irfan (talk) 14:44, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
First, the edit summary clearly gave a reason. Second, it is discussed now. The fact that this is a fake flag is much discussed and we can't keep repeating the discussion ad nauseam. You are edit warring and being disruptive. RegentsPark (comment) 14:47, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Syazwi Irfan, MA theses are generally considered not a reliable sources so should not used (see WP:SCHOLARSHIP) but I found this regarding cannons. S0091 (talk) 18:29, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't really me that added the hand cannon nor the cannon part... Syazwi Irfan (talk) 18:36, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oh I see that now. Well, take a look at the source as you might find it useful (or not). I am just doing quick searches and skimming through but am unfamiliar with the topic. Oh and I did want to ask where you got that Bruneian Sultanate did not have an army until 1408? S0091 (talk) 18:52, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The Bruneian Sultanate did not have an army until 1408 was from the main Bruneian Sultanate Infobox. Syazwi Irfan (talk) 20:10, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And oh yeah i did see the cannon part and my cannon amount in the Battle of Kota Batu (1578) is correct according to this. It says that 62 cannons is mentioned in the Golden age of Brunei part. Syazwi Irfan (talk) 20:14, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the Chinese shipwreck in Brunei part can also be found here in the Military of the Bruneian Sultanate (1368-1888) Article. Syazwi Irfan (talk) 20:17, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Circumventing an AfD[edit]

If you attempt to circumvent the outcome of an AfD again, I will raise this at the appropriate forum. You've done this at least a couple times and show no indication of having learned that it is simply not permitted. There are appropriate procedures to contesting a deletion after a discussion, but what you are doing is not one of them. ~ Pbritti (talk) 13:56, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: Your non-admin close of an AfD you were involved in and that had current discussion is highly improper. Do not do it again. Ping @Pbritti: fyi.  // Timothy :: talk  15:57, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What would have been helpful is participation in the AfD weeks ago, in addition to improving the sources. I tried but was left on my own and its too late now. S0091 (talk) 20:45, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am considering requesting a block that lasts the remaining duration of the AfD to prevent further disruption. I am hoping that won't be necessary. ~ Pbritti (talk) 22:54, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you remove The Battle of Kota Batu as a redirect? as I want make a different battle took place the same year and war but different outcome and commanders. Syazwi Irfan (talk) 17:39, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That depends. I recommend you first writing that article in the draft space and, rather than submitting the article through the standard AfC process, notifying some of the editors involved in the AfD once you have it completed to a state you think is good enough to be published. This would be an exercise in good-faith, as you have repeatedly sought to restore the now-deleted article several times through consensus-defying means. Once other editors have had a chance to verify that the battle is not only notable but also distinct from that of the now-deleted article, you could either move it to the mainspace yourself, submit it to AfC (which I could expeditiously approve), or you could request a move here. ~ Pbritti (talk) 20:08, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jambi Sultanate, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indonesian. Area of focus[edit]

Hey Syazwi, I would just like to point out that there are many areas of Brunei still left uncovered to different extent. Joining Wikipedia:WikiProject Brunei could allow other Brunei Wikipedians (Although not many) to pitch in and help or to look out for one another. Some suggestions for biography I could recommend are folk heroes/legends and real people of notability. Another would be historical events, like an agreement between parties, celebrations or possess political significance. Hope this helps!
