Hims additions[edit]

Thanks for your additions to the Hims article! About the "Notable people" section, there's a separate article on it. We've nominated Hims for GA status, and although many city article have "Notable people" or the like sections, they really shouldn't, especially big city articles. If you look at a list of Good articles from the Middle East particularly (although it's the same for all city GAs): Tel Aviv, Haifa, Nablus, Bethlehem, etc., none have a section for such a topic. Some have a link to a list article such as, List of people from Haifa and List of notable people from Nablus in the See also section, but that's as far as it goes. Having a list of notables in an article on a major city is not really encyclopedic, and is borderline trivia. See WP:TRIVIA. --Al Ameer son (talk) 05:42, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
