Re: Portal:Poland[edit]

Hi Szafranpl and welcome to Wikipedia! I've taken the liberty to reword your edit so that it conforms to the general format used here, but otherwise it's a great addition to the portal. I didn't know Poland was so strong in gliding, so I'm glad to see those results here. I'm also happy that someone has finally added something to the portal, because most of the time it's just me maintaining it, so I may inadvertently bias the portal towards my personal preferences. Names[edit]

Hello. The general guideline can be found at WP:NC and it is a long-standing consensus to use diacritics in article titles here at EN Wiki. The de-diacriticized article names are redirecting to the diacriticized, so ordinary readers in English-speaking countries can always find their way to the right article. - Darwinek (talk) 18:06, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, thank you for adding this; there are numerous popular press summaries out there today, but none of them gave a clear explanation of what the exploit actually does. I found your "mechanism" text very helpful.

You're right; somewhere between your text and my edits, this got confused. Apologies. Another editor since tried to clarify, but IMO that edit made it more confusing. I've deleted part of this edit, and this series of sentences now boils down to:

"The attack can reveal the content of any memory which is mapped into a user address space, even if otherwise protected."

...which I think is perfect.
